we got that one AWESOME looking trailer for a reboot back in '09, then there was a lawsuit over mech design, and then...nothing. Bring back my Mech Warrior, god dammit!

Resident Evil. The storyline has been in the garbage since RE4. Well, it hasn't been that good since Code Veronica. So they definitely need a fresh start.

Also, Double Dragon. Man, I miss that game.

Hmm.

I've played all but one of the games in the Breath of Fire series, I'd like that to be revived or something.

Hey, did I see someone say Jet Force Gemini? Man, that was an awesome game.Even though I can't stand modern shooters, I'd be happy to see it rebooted, as it would be really difficult to make all depressive and brown.

Purely because I can't get past one bit on the emulator thanks to textures and I broke my N64 by spitting a sweet at the ON switch. I never could do that one Floyd mission...

Well, my top 3 all made the list already, in order even. Breath of Fire, Homeworld and Legend of Legaia. All 3 were strong games that left me feeling let down by their sequels. Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter, Homeworld: Cataclysm, and Legaia 2 were all... not good. Not really bad, just not good. Well, Legaia 2 was pretty bad, but the other 2 just weren't as good as the originals.

Mech games have pretty much died out. BRING THEM BACK! Cyberstorm is one of my all time favorite games, but we'll never see another one. Mechwarrior is the only one on my list likely to be remade.

Marc Ecko's Getting Up, the combat was meh in the original but aside from that it was good and it could become quite amazing with a reboot.

I want another Knights of the old republic game. A remake would be great too. I'd love to see what all the charecters look like when there not made up of like 50 polygons.

Ummm...The story was always garbage. Worse then that in fact. That series has one of the most convoluted and just plain horrible plots that have ever graced fiction as a whole. At least Resi 4 had the gameplay to make up for it where you could actually move in the damn direction you want without wanting to break you controller

(Didn't mean to attack your opinion, just hate that series with a passion (Not including 4 which is one of my favorite games)

I wouldn't mind seeing some of the old Metal Gear games remade into the current generation. I'd prefer to see a MGS3 reboot. The Star Wars: Battlefront games would be a great reboot also.

I think Spyro would be an awesome reboot. I grew up playing Spyro and that was the first game I played on a console, it would be awesome to see the first game in all its glory on the PS3 graphics engine.

So, what game series or game do you think should get a reboot?

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but Spyro is kind of already getting a reboot. And he looks like this...

The horror...

NEVER bring that.... that....thing up again! I will NEVER accept it as Spyro! It is some sort of beast from the darkest pit of the void trying to fool people by wearing his skin! The Spyro we all know and love is dead! ;-;


OT: I would ABSOLUTELY LOVE for a reboot of the Tomba series!

Sadly I haven't played it in years and that was only a demo when I was a kid, have never seen a real copy of it and have only seem them extremely expensive on ebay Otherwise I'd play it, the things I remember kicked ass.

Yeah, have been meaning to do that for a few games I could never find it. I will get around to it when I can be bothered

If it came out on the PSN store it would be a Day 1 buy for me. Same as the second.

Yeah probably this. Namco have put a remake of the original game on the Wii, but a proper reboot is in order.
