Hah. Last time I went into an EBGames was last Christmas, and because of that, I buy all my games online.
See, I went to buy Gears of War 2, Fallout 3, and COD:WAW for my brother and myself for Christmas. I walk into the store, pick up the games thinking he'd like them (I know I would), and go up to the counter where acne-ridden college kid was manning the shop. As he's looking at them, he looks at me and asks,
"You sure this is what you're looking for?"
"Yes," I said, frowning slightly.
He looks at me a long moment, and says, "For your brother?"
"Yeah, and myself."
"Oh! If you're shopping for yourself, you might want something from over there." He points toward the Wii section.
I glare at him. "Uh, no thanks. I'd rather shoot zombies in the face."
He asks for the money, which I hand over quickly, eager to leave. As he hands me the receipt, I notice something written on the bottom. His phone number.
Needless to say, I tore up the reciept (I had no intention of returning the games anyway) and left it on the counter before leaving the shop for the (second) last time.
In fact, when I bought Mass Effect in Boston, the guy behind the counter asked for my number- which was mildly embarrassing, seeing as how my dad was looking at the shelves nearby.
I hate EBGames.
