Karnov, an old sidescroller on the NES. You play as Karnov, this shirtless circus strong-man looking dude who can shoot fireballs. The enemies were really random, like golems and dinosaurs and shit. It was pretty crazy.

And there was some other game, but I can't remember the name of it. You were this little chick, and there was, like, a whale or something I think. Lol, really random, I know.
Dude I remember Karnov, that game was cool, and really hard at times.

I've got the winner: it was this European game for GBC à la Pokemon except with 2D fighting instead of turn-based battles. It's so obscure, I don't even remember its name.

EDIT: Haha, I hate to sound elitist, but Vagrant Story and Jet Set Radio Future aren't obscure at all - we're talking about a Square RPG and an Xbox bundle-in.

2ND EDIT: Neither is Comix Zone or Medieval:Total War. The former was one of the preeminent Genesis titles and the latter is part of a well-known game franchise. Try Spartan for an obscure Total War title, maybe.

Advent Rising, Original XBox.

I think its safe to assume even the developers forgot about this, as it is set up for a sequel, but there isnt one bieng created as far as I know. It is still fun, but is graphically bad.

Jet Grind Radio (Dreamcast) > Jet Set Radio Future (Xbox) by a factor of roughly 20,402.

I didn't think anyone else had ever heard of Koudelka until I included it in my byline the week before last. Loved that game. ToeJam & Earl and DecapAttack are other old faves that not many folks seem to recall. (I loved ToeJam & Earl 2 and 3, even, though no-one else seemed to.)

There's no emulator good enough for it.

Ogre Battle series. I'm typing a review on Ogre Battle 64.

This is my first post. I felt I had to make an account just to reply to this thread.

Pokemon Colosseum. I bet a lot of people have heard of it, but I want to say it anyways. I remember getting about 4-5 years ago, around when it came out. I beat it then didn't play for years. Recently I played and discovered how much fun it was. It was so fun that I bought the sequel, Gale of Darkness. I haven't had time to play that one though.

And about Kuru Kuru Kururin. A lot of people have heard about that game, as one of the assist trophies in Brawl is from that game. I checked on the site because the pictures looked familiar. That game looks fun. Here's the link :

Psi-ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy. Epic game, got absolutely no publicity at all. Best gory, violent psychic game to date.

Untrue, there is an emulator good enough for it, seeing as I am able to play it on my computer. Can't direct you to a site but the emu that I use is called Project64; the game runs perfectly on it.

Its seems I must be the only one that knows about Alpha Centauri because even though it was SIGNIFIGANTLY better than Civ, Sid hasn't remade it.
Astro Algebra is a game I doubt anyone knows. Awesome game

Time Splitters: Future Perfect

I've heard everyone rave about the second one, but I thought number 3 was actually marginally better. I've seen reviews around for it, but it never really comes up it a lot of conversations

Bouncer if anyone else has ever heard of it. Was a 3d streets of rage-esq fighter for ps2.

Killed a few hours and that guy (something begining with V) had horn coming out of his head!

Oh and i swear the main character was ripped off an put into kingdom hearts
One of the first games for the PS2 I believe.

It seems I'm the only one who recalls Dreamweb on the PC. The game had a controversial sex scene and some fairly brutal slayings which caused a stir when it was first released but it has since been lost to obscurity.

Age of Wonders, which is odd as it's very well rated. Definitely one of the best TBS's ever. *mumbles* Stupid morons that don't appreciate a TBS. *inaudible mumbling*

Baten Kaitos for Gamecube. And I'd I'd agree with that Lost Kingdoms comment. Tragic, really, as it's a pretty good game.
The Baten Kaitos gameplay is great and the story is awesome. I never thought that the main character is the villain. What a shock
Nice spoilers there LOL, but yeah, this game needs more props for the trippy.
