I'd have to say the Icarus wings in the linear flight sections of God of War 3 when the flight controls are inverted. Talk about a tenth circle of hell.

EDIT: Now that I think about it, the flying vehicles in Battlefield 2142 were quite bad indeed.

The dune buggy in borderlands, Epona in OoT, and airplanes in Banjo Kazooie N&B.

Borderlands vehicles. Man they lacked variety. I was hoping there would be motorbike type vehicles and stuff.

The Mako from Mass Effect. Man that thing has good grip. So not so much sucky as it was just plain wierd.

GTA cars. Man can I turn a corner without using the handbreak please?

There were a few others but I forgot.

Definitely the Mako from Mass Effect, I would often find myself re-enacting that scene from the episode of Red Dwarf called "Thanks for the memory" where the boys are all flying back to the ship blind drunk after celebrating Rimmers death-day (Yes I even sing the song they did).

Am I the only one that didn't have any trouble with Half-Life's vehicles?
No, you are not the only one at all. Personally, I'm curious as to why bashing Half-Life 2's/Episode 2's vehicle sections has become the popular thing to do 'round these parts. I had no trouble at all (and had a hell of a lot of fun with those vehicular sections, might I add).

OT: The Warthog in the PC version of Halo. Using the mouse to steer a vehicle is a hell of a lot more painful than one would think.

It's been said, but the helicopter in GTA IV, not to mention the boats. The one mission with the boat chase took me tons of tries because it just kept flipping on me.

Borderlands vehicles were bad, but GTA 4 cars were OK for me (after serious practice).

At one point in Jak III, you have to steer a missile. Hit something, and it explodes.

Fun, but the think handled like a...
Well, a missile.
That wasn't hard to control! It was great fun :D

OT, almost everything. I hate vehicles in games, unless it's a racing game (duh).

Any of the vehicles in Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising and the air vehicles in ET: Quake Wars.

Oh Christ the planes from Battlefield Heroes, hands down. Those things are awful.

On another note I actually like the Borderlands cars.

aw I had fun in the mako, that thing was a blast when driving off cliffs and using the thruster thingys.....but yeah when in combat though it sucked ass (but I still loved it)
but effing planes in Battlefield 1942 had to fight everyone for them and everyone flew them equally crappy....especially the fudging bombers

The Mako had a certain charm to it, in that it was amusing watching it bump around like a bumper car in one of those inflatible castles. But if you actually had to get somewheres, then you were well and thoroughly shafted.

The vehicles in Halo aren't bad in and of themselves, but when you're in single player and the AI companions have to pick up one of the important roles... oh boy.
