I have one group of friends who are all awesome at Guitar Hero, so I feel embarrassed when I suck while I'm playing with them. However, most of my other friends suck at it, so I feel embarrassed when I do well around them.

Stupid game.
Heh, this feeling is all too familiar except in my case it's fighting games. I know a group of guys that mop the floor with me in Third Strike, but then when I play against one of my friends that doesn't play it religiously...it's perfect games more often than not.

Viva Pinata. Look, I find it fun, okay? Even if it's not the most masculine thing on earth...
Agreed, I liked that game and I dont care what you guys say.

Also, I may or may not still own Kukato Chojin of the Xbox.

Hey, that was a good fighting game.

Even though it was banned in the U.S

Uhh I played Maple Story. That's not something you go around telling everyone.

I play many games that others would deem "kiddie" and something to be ashamed of.
Pokemon, Harvest Moon, I used to play The Sims, I have a deep fondness for Kirby...

I have no regrets.
Woah, since when is the Sims embarrassing to play? I play the Sims, and I have for years! What's wrong with it?
You never heard of the sims described as a virtual doll house before?

That isn't my view but it is an agrument towards why it may be embarrasing to play. Infact I know a fair few people both male and female that play the sims. I even tryed it myself when it was new, didn't stick with it very long though as I'm one of those gamers that need to be shooting, stabbing or clicking something to death some of the time.

The Witcher.

Believe me, there are few things in a gamer's life more awkward or ultimately futile than trying to explain to a woman why you're sitting there watching a computer game character get laid. Almost as bad is explaining to your friends (and strangers who happen to find out about it) that you're not some kind of weirdo pervert just because you imported the UK version of the game because the North American release had censored nudity.

Great game, but man, what a hassle.

I get hassled because I used to enjoy Viva Pinata...
Well that's understandable. I mean you playing it, not being hassled. It's the greatest game evarist!
Sorry, yeah Viva Piñata for me too.
Same. Good game, nice and relaxing, provided you can ignore the grief you get from people.

Oh man where do I begin?

Viva Pinata ( you find me a game where I breed pinatas besides this, and I'll eat my own 360)
Nintendogs (...oh come on they're adorable)
Animal Crossing ( I like kiddy life-sims, so sue me)
Cooking mama ( competitive carrot chopping? Count me in)
Harvest Moon (see Animal crossing)
Super Paper mario( mario is hated amongst my friends)

I really see no problem with enjoying games made for kids. Its good just to take a break from shooting aliens in their glowing ballsacks, and just having fun. I find kiddie games really relaxing, entertaining and they have this nostalgic feel to them. It reminds you of when you were eight and playing these games with your friends, and just loving every second of it.

Kingdom Hearts 2.

The game (or at least the first 20 hours before the game broke my PS2) is very misogynistic. Characters will randomly say things like "I believe our hearts are full of light!" which is extremely embarrassing if there a women in the room. The whole atmosphere is nasty and unpleasant to listen to.

Maybe not what you were looking for, but when I told my friends I play DnD.
I managed to get two of them too join me too, but that game has such an undeserved reputation.

Pokemon Snap. I'm 29 but for some strange reason that game still captivates me and I can play it for hours when nobody is around.

I've got Nintendogs in my room somewhere. Haven't played it in about a year. My puppy should by all rights be dead by now.
