Years ago I bought "Hey You, Pikachu!" for the Nintendo 64... I thought it would be funky to own a voice recognition game for the N64. (I later bought Odama for the Gamecube for much the same reason, but that one is not nearly as embarrassing.)

Yeah me too....been clean and sober for almost 5 months now.
Isn't it strange how it changes the dynamic of your life? I'm not putting the game down or anything, it was fun and I don't regret playing it, but... even if you aren't pulling 8 hour sessions ever single day, I notice that it still has this weird pull. I'll tell myself "oh i'll only play for an hour" and it ends up being 2 or 3. Not only that, but I didn't play any other game during that entire time. Part of the fun of gaming is the variety in challenge and experience. I'm not saying WoW is evil, but it is kinda like the marijuana of the game world.

The Witcher.

Believe me, there are few things in a gamer's life more awkward or ultimately futile than trying to explain to a woman why you're sitting there watching a computer game character get laid. Almost as bad is explaining to your friends (and strangers who happen to find out about it) that you're not some kind of weirdo pervert just because you imported the UK version of the game because the North American release had censored nudity.

Great game, but man, what a hassle.
I know your pain man.

My girlfriend loved The Witcher, and had as much fun as me kicking ass and bedding anything in a skirt (or sometimes pants). She's now constantly pestering me for when there will be a sequel about her "witchy-poo". Guess I'm just lucky that way:)

As for games I'm ashamed to play...hmm. I'm not ashamed about loving Viva Pinata, but the extent to which I've played both that and Trouble in Paradise is a bit embarassing. And randomly humming the Loco Roco theme can be a bit awkward as well.:p

Runescape.
WoW
Rise of Argonauts
Sacred 2
Halo 1 2 3 (Yes i hate Halo)
Devil may Cry 4
Gears of War (Picking up a pattern yet?)
Fable 2
Spore
Sims 2

Wow thats alot of sequels...

And i thought Halo was a waste of time and money and i demand Microsoft Games personally say sorry to me. I hope their happy. After Halo i now judge all their games horrid until proven without a shadow of a doubt to be decent and worthy of being left alone on my PC.

I play many games that others would deem "kiddie" and something to be ashamed of.
Pokemon, Harvest Moon, I used to play The Sims, I have a deep fondness for Kirby...

I have no regrets.
Sir i insist you take pokemon out of that list. Seriously every good geek/nerd played pokemon on a handheld when they were 6 there's nuffin wrong with it. Imo Pokemon > spore at least it kept me interested for more than 3 hours =)

Guess I'll be the first to say WoW (though I am currently on indefinite hiatus).
I oddly have no problem admitting to enjoying Kingdom Hearts and KH2 immensely, even though I personally hate Disney and everything they stand for. The battle engine was just so much fun to me, are there more games out there like it that I am currently ignorant to?
Kingdom Hearts WAS completely amazing. It had an interesting story, exciting combat, Final Fantasy characters (dayum roight SOOOOON), the Disney characters some people know and love, recognizable worlds, AND it was *gasp* even family friendly! NO-ONE should be ashamed of playing Kingdom Hearts!!!

I dunno if I am ashamed of playing anything. Nowadays I play Left 4 Dead, Fallout 3, and Mercenaries 2, and all of those are manly enough for any gamer as far as I know. If you disagree because Mercs 2 is T-rated then you obviously haven't played it, especially not with cheat codes.

I have Disney Pixar's Cars game, it's just to jack up my GamerScore though.

P.S. Stop correcting spelling mistakes! I think most of us could spell properly, but why? If its still readable its okay, I'm not handing in a report.

Hmm Bought a DS only to play Pokemon Pearl

Picked up for 360 for the first Viva Pinata when it Launched

Absolutely addicted to Harvest Moon since the 64 one.

FF IX, Since I got it when it came out I've probably done about 8-10 full playthroughs except for excalibur II because I Don't like speeding through the game.

Just picked up Micky's Magical Quest for the snes. Good platformer >.>

Sylocat: Where on Earth do I start?

Sonic Adventure, both 1 and 2

Nothing to be ashamed of there. Those were Sonic's last good games.

Oh, and definitely DDR: Mario Mix.

I used to play Pokemon Red when it came out and was really good at it. I remember tackling my younger cousin's 6 team lvl 100 group versus my "solo" lvl 100 mew with a good selection of moves. To this day, I still own the title of successor of that fight, though it's kind of embarrassing now. >.>

I also played and enjoyed some of the original tomagochi things that go on a keychain. I remember my first one was this "Godzilla" raising creature thing...hey, at least it had some dignity with it! (*runs off to cry in shame*)
