I felt the show was a bit "meh". Interesting to watch, but their discussions were not as interesting as those you could listen to in Invisible Walls for exemple.
Unlike some people, I think that Yahtzee is great as he is in the show. This kind of cynical, dark humour associated with his stillness worked great to me. He seems depressed, he almost doesn't move, he looks artificial, but all of that is part of his character. I think he behaved that way on purpose.
Sure, he may be shy of the camera, like the two other guys, but his attitude doesn't really show it, as he seems to be performing a role.
The problem lied with the two other guys, I think. I've never listened to their show, but I think that they lacked any arguments or sense of humor. Yahtzee keeps switching between mindless humour and his funny way of making his points, but the other two were... meh.
"I played Warhammer Online and it was like this, I didn't like it..."
Well, I don't give a damn about what this guy felt, because he has not proven that he had interesting opinions backed by facts, before the show.
I think that Yahtzee deserves a TV show, because he's so... unique, and has a very strange presence on screen. But a TV show with Yahtzee would be better with people with other personnalities with him. A very intelligent reviewer and an other man with a different sense of humour could make a very good show.
I've got the feeling that Yahtzee could be very funny, doing something with a different team. The problem with Gamedamage, I think, is that it lacks originality. Yahtzee is very special, but overall, the chemistry between the three makes it seem like something that any other gamers could have done.
