it was ok.
1. more often than not, yug & matt got really offended by yahtzee's smart-ass comments (i don't exactly blame them either: "you should hang your head in shame", "we don't need your life story, man" were hilarious until you saw how agitated they were by it)
2. i noticed yug looks and acts like a friend of mine from college. he was gay. i'm not saying yug is too or that it's a problem; i'm just telling you what i noticed. they both like graphic design too? GASP! bring on the stereotypes!!
3. the skits were at least interesting, if not hilarious. though i'm not a gamer, i just love the next-gen graphics, so i can't pick apart these skits the way, say, i can pick apart a cover tune played by one of my favourite bands, so to say any more would be biased.
4a. i think it's nice having two cheerful nerds mixed with the slightly psychotic angry one. it helps add balance to the panel, since yahtzee's got enough shit-flinging power for 2 people.
and while we're (i'm) on the subject ...
4b. i'm finding the zero punctuation reviews to be so face-to-the-shit-cannon one-sided (even the positive ones), having yug and matt give input adds some positive balance to the show, rather than simply nit-picking a game to death. even if the only feature they really liked was a designing element and not the game itself.
but i never watched ZP for recommendations: i watch them for a laugh
