Games as 'fun'

I have wasted many hours playing the Peggle add-on for WoW.

Dawn of War II was the first to pop into my head.

I feel like 'fun' as a descriptor of games doesn't see much use lately, at least in my experience.

Everyones description of fun seems to be different as some people enjoy lengthy grinds fighting similar monsters for hours on end, while other people enjoy games more akin to Katamari.

That being said, Katamari is the game I choose.

Just Cause 2.
The voice acting is terrible and the story is meh.
However, you can do crazy stunts, surf on jets, drag enemies behind cars, drag helicopters behind cars, drag cars behind helicopters, drag everything behind jets, blow up many things and heaps of other stuff. All this progresses the game.
