What is says on the tin really. What video game bargains have you bought, that you would have not paid full price for and then thought 'wow this is actually really good'

Two Worlds: Epic Edition - Everyone I know slated this game, bought it for 3.99 on STEAM and having so much fun, spent 20 hours on it already.

Freedom Force - Now on STEAM 4.47 for both the first, and second. Truth be told I lost the copy of the original and haven't seen it anywhere since. So buying it on STEAM for that lovely price was a must.

Left 4 Dead - OK, I wasn't particularly fussed, but when it was reduced in price, I thought 'sod it, i'll give it a whirl' - I'm glad I did.

I bought Alien Shooter 2 for five bucks. It was mindlessly entertaining for a bit.

I got Star Wars Battlefront 2, and The Club in a deal, where if I bought any other game with The Club it was only £15. Naturally I went for a really cheap game which I enjoy but didn't own. This was when The Club first was released by the way.

I got Dark Messiah for a tenner. Really enjoyed it.

Quick disclaimer: I get all my games really cheap, so its kinda relative. Mind you, I don't make much money so maybe it balances. Also, all of these prices are in Canadian dollars. Can't be bothered to convert, but the average new 360 game is approximately $70.00 here.

I paid $13 for Eternal Darkness, not super cheap but a great deal.
I paid $8.00 for K.O.T.O.R./ K.O.T.O.R. 2/ and Jade Empire in a three pack - granted, that was just last year.
I paid $5.00 for Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 on the Playstation 2 last week.

Morrowind was my No3 in a 3 games for £30 or £14:99 each deal, its now near the top of my favourite games list, I recently puchased an original packageing+paper map copy for £1:99
Baldur's gate 2, another of my favourites cost me £2 off my friend who bought it from a car-boot-sale.
Mass Effect I got in a 2 for £20 deal with Halo 3 and enjoyed much more than the Halo game.
I got Shogun: Total War for £10, its the first of one of my favourite series'.

Hmm... why do I buy games that aren't from the budget bin again?

Samurai Legend Musashi (PS2). It's a pseudo-sequel to the first game (If I remmeber correctly, they do reference the first one once, but that's about it).

Also, every Megaman X up to MMX6 I got used, and of course, enjoyed immensly. X7 and X8 broke that cycle.

Earth Defence Force 2017 (360). Cheap and even tho it is technically rubbish, it is so much fun to play.

Chu Chu Rocket (DC) It was free and one of the best party games ever.

More recently picked up Wild arms 3 for $5 still haven't finished it due to picking up Persona 3 for Half off of 30 dollars in a clearnace sales.
