Games considered overrated or bad that you enjoy anyway

Assassins Creed, The Darkness, Halo 3, and I really liked PoP: Warrior Within. Best one of that trilogy in my opinion, though the other two are very good.

The original Fable, if you look at it the game was vile. But it still amused me, and I was hooked to it for quite alot.

Also I think Halo: Combat Evolved deserved it's praises and was neither overrated nor bad. It should not be mentioned in this thread

Lego Racers.

Possibly the most underrated game ever made in the history of man.

Lego Racers, Red Steel (honestly given how it was the first FPS created with Wii hardware it came out all right), Halo 2 & 3, Fallout Tactics...umm...that's all i have right now.

Halo. I'm not sure what my local hero Yahtzee has against it but I thought they were great fun. Also anyone who has a PS2, look for a game called 'Mashed', this game is severely underrated. It's a racing type game...sort of. Thing Carmageddon but from more of an above-view, organised tracks and no pedestrians in the way. Great game for having normal, non-gamer friends around. Skill is good, but no guarantee of a win. One of the only games I know that does this.

C&C Renegade. Yeah, the game was heavily beaten around for not being great but for a Dev branching out to a new genre, it was pretty alright. I actually enjoyed it.

Overrated
*The halo games are awesome in multiplayer but the campaign isnt that good.
*Most Wii party games are fun for 20mins then u have done everything, it plays well with friends but isnt as fun to play by yourself.

Underrated
One game i think is very good but have gotten bad reviews are James Bond Nightfire for the consols (Gamecube, Ps2, Xbox), the campaign is one of the best i have ever seen and the multiplayer is superb for a game made in 2001. A really good thing is that you can have bots, computer controlled characters in your game and that makes so that you can play multiplayer by yourself. The game has lots of cool gadgets and weapons like stickymines and heatseeking rocketlaunchers.

yeah you did, the title of the thread was "Games considered overrated or bad that you enjoy anyway" I get berated for liking those two games because the people who brandish said "rate" judge those games to be rated below what they think is standard, and then they say thing about how i'm a homo for gordon freeman.

they are by no means bad (otherwise I wouldn't have Gordons flacid cock in my mouth as I speak), but many* believe them to be overrated.

* and by many I mean few, and by few I mean loud noisy retards.

and to the people who stated that half life is good by virtue of winning awards please fuck off, the fucking spice girls won awards, GO THEM. so did minni vannilli, and they are the biggest fucking frauds on earth.

Funnily enough people tend not to stop me in the street to ask me whether I like games. Where exactly do you live?

What even more funny is that both of those games (especially Half Life 2) received massive praise from critics, Half Life 2 receiving over 20 awards I believe.
