Games deserving a remake or sequel

I want to see a remake for Army Men RTS, my favourite of the Army Men series and easily one of the best console RTS' I've ever played.

I'd like to see a remake of Unreal, with more focus on survivalism in an alien environment. Perhaps even as an RPG with the mechanics in a similar style to KotOR or Mass Effect.

I want to see Capitalism 3. Make the game moddable and extensible so the user community could add in new materials and products with the game's mod tools. I might even go so far as to say it'd make a great MMO, something a bit like EVE but with an Earth setting and less combat, just a player-driven economy.

Republic Commando, great game with a cliffhanger ending yet no sequel? Come on LucasArts.

There is a series of books... However the latest release has an incredibly stupid ending...

I would really like to see a combination of a sequel and a remake for KANE & LYNCH (DEAD MEN). At least this way they could get it right for a change because they did alright but they missed out a lot of junk. The campaign was really good to about half way when you ended up in Havannah for some rather gay reason. Also the characters look and sound way more old and boring than the trailer and the posters I saw. Plus the ending was way more than a kick in the teeth... It sucked majorly. The gameplay and style of the multiplayer (Fragile Alliance) is freaking awesome but it needed more (weapons, senarios, tactics).

No matter whether IO interactive got enough sale for this game they should still make a sequel and stuff more into it like; more inner city levels, characters, weapons, online co-op and maybe a little comedy on the side.

I'd like to see a remake of Rule of Rose with an updated combat mechanic that isn't so horrible.
I'd also love to see Grim Fandango 2 and Psychonauts 2

Point and Click games like Blade Runner or Indy or Day of the Tentacle

A remake of the original Starcraft (widescreen support or something should suffice)

I've read them (well not the new but thats still in hardcover only) but it didn't say how Sev is still alive after the ending where he is left behind.

Sephiroth was not a villain in Final Fantasy. But I do agree on the Earthbound sequel. Correction, Nintendo should just bring the damn game to the world already.

Star Wars Jedi Knight 2 needs a remake or at least another game in that vein. Online battles were blast back in the old days.

Xenogears! Remake the whole game for the 360/ps3 with the enhanced graphics of those systems, but DONT TOUCH THE GAMEPLAY, and make the second half an actual game, not just a bunch of half-done scrolling text recounts of events you should have been able to play through.

That would, why it would make me the happiest boy alive.

Pick up Darkstar One, which is to Elite what Sacred is to Diablo. Ascaron seems to trade in disguised remakes these days.
