Throughout the years there have been games that everyone has told you was amazing but when you played these games you hated them, what are these games?
Some simple guidlines:
1. The game needs to have been popular at some point or another.
2. You need to have played this game for at least an hour, I don't want a fanboy flame war.
That said I really hate Pokemon. It is too grindy and gives me a wierd dog-fightey feeling.
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of time is my personal pick for bad games in great series. The combat is slow and boring, The puzzles are easy and univentive and the dungeon desing was sucky.
WoW is just too grindy for my tastes. If you have a group of friends willing to play and have nothing to do for a summer it can be kinda fun but once you play a better mmo you find it impossible to go back.
Soul calibur 4 is the escapists pick for most button mashey fighting game, and I agree with them. http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/9.70523?page=1
