Resident Evil Gamecube remake

Being forced to fight an unseen malevolent entity that seeps through every aspect of the game is scary in Condemned 1 and Eternal Darkness.

Fighting an enemy that is unseen despite being two feet away because the camera is focused 180 degrees in the wrong direction is just annoying.
Amen. And also, Eternal Darkness=Godliness.

all halo games

all final fantasy games

the sims after about a month of play time it got incredibly boring and hateable after the novelty of making your characters burn to death wore off

and after playing world of warcraft for 3 years i now hate it because of the 40 year old fangirls and internet womanisers (all of which were either fat, stupid, lived with their parents or a combination thereof) finally beat me down as much as blizzard was with the very patches they used to ruin their own game.
if you like WoW go die in a fire

So, I was never a big fan of Halo 2 & 3, or Gears of War. I also was not as big a fan of Super Mario anything.

Final Fantasy 7: I have stated my case before, so I'm not gonna beat a dead horse (That's SEGA's job)

Halo 3 (and to a lesser extent the series): The games are pretty good, but they had the unfortunate side effect of contaminating video games forever with annoying squeakers and frat boys.

GTA IV: I didn't think that the game was anywhere near the hype/appraise it received. As Mr. Croshaw pointed out this week, any game that has to spend 3 hours training how to play in a sandbox isn't a good game.

Little Big Planet: I just don't see the appeal. I don't get it. It was fun and all, but I don't see why everyone is going stark raving mad over it.

MGS4: If I wanted to buy a movie, I'd have paid $30 less and bought a movie. Kojima-sama needs to trim some of his ideas down.

(PS: Smokey the Bear says "Only you can prevent flame wars...don't be a tard)

Half life 2. OK...well hate is too strong a word for this, but i certainly dont see it as the godly game other people claim it to be.

Grand theft auto. Yawn fest, it's just not fun after 30 minutes. I can sum up the game in one sentence: so much to do, but nothing worth doing.

Kingdom hearts. not my cup of tea, and I HATE Disney

GTA 3 and Vice City. Just didn't involve me at all, combat was buggy and missions uninvolving.
Halo 3 singleplayer. Now don't get me wrong, the multiplayer's awesome, and the campaign is fun when played cooperatively, but the campaign itself i just found dull and not up to the sheer joy i experienced when i first picked up HALO:CE.

The fact that alot of people seem to be mentioning the same game should probably point towards it actually not being a game that everyone loves.

In fact, no game has ever been loved by everyone.

Hate pong so much! Although it is awesome to turn it into a drinking game and to put money on said "Beer pong"

It is scientifically impossible for humans to hate Tetris. Even Jack Thompson is ok with Tetris.

No. Impossible. How could you hate Pong? You have to be an incredibly depraved person to hate Pong. Pong is like a metaphor for the human experience.

I don't like the Final Fantasy games, but I thought FF8 in particular was one of the worst games I've ever played. It took all of the problems with the series and made them worse. I actually did like Final Fantasy VII; the story and characters were charming enough to make me overlook the combat. The characters in VIII were irritating, the story was underwhelming and had one of the most eye-rollingly stupid plot twists in history, and to top it off the graphics looked like complete ass compared to VII's - sure, they were more "realistic," but they were also completely devoid of style and so pixelated that I wanted to vomit.

Silent Hill 2:
I really don't understand how a game so fundamentally flawed in so many ways could have became so popular.

Sports games:
With a few exceptions, sports game are repetitive and not particularly fun with little lasting appeal.

Guitar hero series:
I played it at a friend's house. It definitely wasn't as fun or addictive as I expected.

ICO:
Really long escort mission.

This may shock you, but it turns out there are quite a few incredibly depraved people in the world. I myself know a few people that can't stand pong.

I'm not the type to randomly fling around more hate than a monkey flings poo. I'm a pretty open-minded gamer. But, if there's a popular game I didn't like...

I'd have to say Super Mario Galaxy, mostly because it was way too easy. The only ball-bustingly difficult level was that Luigi Sprite place...the rest was kind of pathetic compared to Super Mario Sunshine.

( I haven't completely played through Luigi's game, so if that's any better... )
