Your messiah speaks out on all the sports games hate in this forum:
People who like sports game while numerous cling to their own little circles and don't play many other games, they are a third audience in the whole "Hardcore" "Casual" spectrum.

Oh, you just want me to be a dick...I'll only list games that I hated...not games that I could at least stand and have some fun in (like Gears)...

I hate any Mario platformer. From the first one to Galaxy, I just didn't have fun. Ever.

I hate LoZ: Phantom Hourglass. Fucking temple...The rest of games that I've played in the series were great and in my opinion Seasons and Ages stand as the 2 best in the series.

EDIT: Guitar Hero and Rock Band. Friend lent me his guitar and everything for Guitar Hero. Boring as hell. Rock Band...I bought it used, thinking that it was different, and returned it within 24 hours.

The fact that alot of people seem to be mentioning the same game should probably point towards it actually not being a game that everyone loves.

In fact, no game has ever been loved by everyone.
Tetris, the best attempt by the Soviet Union for Global Domination
Please go through the conversation I had with CIA about Pong, but replace the word "Pong" with "Tetris"

Everything is hated by someone, and I'm pretty sure tetris is hated by a great number of people.

Eh Supreme Commander. The games took forever, no strategy, and overall lag, pretty pointless game,

Pong
Even that.

Someone, somewhere is bound to hate pong.
No. Impossible. How could you hate Pong? You have to be an incredibly depraved person to hate Pong. Pong is like a metaphor for the human experience.
This may shock you, but it turns out there are quite a few incredibly depraved people in the world. I myself know a few people that can't stand pong.
*sob* You've destroyed my faith in humanity...or what was left of it.

Edit: Faith not Humanity

I don't get what all the hype about Portal was about.

I mean, I enjoyed watching it from a spectator point of view... the storyline is fantastic but then whenever i tried to play it i felt physically sick with all the spinning around etc. Maybe I'm just fucked up.
So im not the only one.

Any sports game.
Final Fantasy's 8, 10, 10-2.
Don't necessarily hate FF7, but I don't see why it's so popular. FF 1-6 were much better.
Halo series.
Gears of War series.
Fable series.
Elder Scrolls series.
Resistance 2 (Does that count right now? I didn't like the beta, thought #1 was better)
Kingdom Hearts series
Call of Duty 2-4
GTA games
Civilization games
Sims games
Resident Evil series
World of Warcraft
Guitar Hero/Rock band - I mean, it was fun the first few hours, but it gets pretty boring afterwards.
Command & Conquer series
Any racing game

Probably some more, but I can't think right now. Wow, I hate a lot of games.

EDIT!: I thought of more! The FFTA series, FFT is one of my favorite games, but that judgment/law system, whatever it's called, can go die.

Edit2: Wii sports, Wii fit, any of that kind of crap. I'm not a housewife.

I'd have to say my choice on this would be TLoZ: Twilight Princess. I don't HATE it, but I just compare it to Wind Waker and I find it to be lacking in the charm and cinematic feel of the cel-shaded gem. And I know I'm thinking the opposite of the general public, but I can't help it XD lol I just love Wind Waker so much. And Midna annoys me.

Final Fantasy 7 is another one. I tried it for a while but it was just so dull to me. I wasn't attached to any of the characters, either, so that didn't help.

And although I did enjoy it, I didn't find HL2:Ep2 to be as much fun as HL2 or Ep1. I'm hoping they do better with Ep3.

GTA and it's clones
Gears of War
Halo 1,2,3
Every Final Fantasy after 7
Pokemon
Kingdom Hearts
The Sims (is anyone else shocked that this hasn't been tagged with an M or AO rating for the player-made mods, I know some other games were.)

Halo, Guitar Hero, Army of Two, Counter-Strike:Source, Portal, any game made by Blizzard, Soul Calibur 3 and 4, Final Fantasy,Oblivion, and much more.
Note, if a number wasn't mentioned or a specific version then count it as the entire series.

Wasn't aware that it was that loved.
Neither was I 'till everyone I know talked about how amazing that game was. All I could think of was,"REALLY!?"
Yep...that about sums up what my reaction would have been...especially after playing it.

I mean, even when a game is utter crap team-killing usually brings it back to life for me, team-killing brought me no joy in that game. The only joy I had was my friend who was playing serious wasted all his ammo trying to kill me.
