absolutely brillient game. you need to play this if you never played the original

But what is Custom Robo? That has caught my attention in this thread, do you design your own robot and use it or something ha?

Also more information on Metroid games would be good, from a players perspective at least.

Metroid Prime is a First Person Shooter/Adventure games.
Its AMAZING(to me at least)
Awesome Art, Music, and extremely fun Gameplay.
The Backtracking gets repetitive after a while and the First Person Platforming gets really annoying but its a lot of fun.

And Custom Robo is a Game where you Build your own Miniature Robot and Battle it out with other Robots in an Arena.

Well that's custom Robo on my list =D

try the legend if zelda the collectors edition, it has the first 4 zelda games and the wind waker demo. speaking of which you should get the wind waker too.

Hey all!

Now i should be getting my old Gamecube back off my auntie sometime this week, i was hoping for any game Suggestions.

I have Starwars Rogue Squadron and i think i have Pokemon Colosseum. hopefully i'll be able to find the other Pokemon game for it as well.

I like Shooters and RPG's (with decent customization although that is optional ) mostly, but i am open to try new games if they are good like Pikmin and so on.

Care to help a guy out? Because i don't want to waste my money on a game i will not like

I would echo the sentiments of most of the people here:

Skies of Arcadia is the best RPG out there, but if you hate random battles, it's an exercise in frustration because there are a LOT of them for the first 1/3 of the game (then you find a way to avoid them).

The best shooters are going to be the Metroid Prime series. I find Echoes to be inferior to the original, but that's just me.

Apart from that, I find 007 Nightfire and Rogue Agent to be competent shooters with fun multiplayer modes (remote controlled helis of DEATH and X-ray vision walling guns). Agent Under Fire slightly less so.

Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness is right up your alley as a pokemon fan, as there are some special moves you can only get through XD (IIRC you can get Blissey with Wish).

Tales of Symphonia is a good choice.

Lost Kingdoms is an extremely underrated RPG. I rented it back when it first came out and couldn't afford to buy it, now it's disappeared off the face of the earth. If you can find it on eBay or Amazon, get it. It's an RPG with card-based powers and combat that's extremely unique and fun once you get the hang of it.

While it isn't a shooter or an RPG, the Batman Begins movie tie-in was actually an excellent game in its own right.

I think he's talking about a game I used to have for GC that had all the old Zelda games and a Wind Waker trial on it. Was pretty cool.

I have never played a Metroid game before lol, Seriously i saw the cover for the first time a few years ago and i thought Master Chief turned camp.

And i mean does it flow well, are the controls easy, what makes it the popular title it is now? Without giving the story away lol

It flows very well. As for the controls, it's moderately hard gameplay wise, but it's relatively easy to get used to the controls. As for what makes it a popular, any number of reasons: good pacing, good aspect on exploration and not on the pewpewpew, some fantastic gunplay when the focus does shift to it, and some very well-done atmospheres.

Everyone in their own right has already said it. Invest in 'Tales of Symphonia' and 'Skies of Arcadia'. Both are exceptional rpgs, and SoA is said to be one of the best out there.

Then you should get Paper Mario: TYD. You will thereafter be set for weeks.
