Mega Man Legends and its sequel. Considering we'll probably never get a third, it'd be nice to at least get a remake of the first two. I'd also like to see the Jedi Academy games with updated graphics, and...well, I'd say Panzer Dragoon Orta, but that game still looks gorgeous and plays well -now-.

Golden Sun
Golden Sun: The Lost Age
Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga

That's all I can think of that I really want to see updated, visually. I don't want the stupid ass chibi graphics they gave to Golden Sun: Dark Dawn, but updated visuals would be so awesome. Even if they're purely 2D and got rid of the 3D aspect, that'd be great.

For Mario & Luigi: Super Star Saga, I just want cleaner sprites and environments. And for them to add the coffee events where other Nintendo characters make small cameo appearances.

Seriously, not porting/remaking them for 3DS is just leaving money on the table...

Also, Ape Escape. I grew up in a playstation house, so AE was my Super Mario 64.

Some of the classics that are getting outdated now. I'd love to see a proper remake of some of the ones I've missed and can't be bothered playing through because they're too clumsy and fidgety. A proper remake of games like Morrowind and Deus Ex would be real nice since I don't have any nostalgia goggles to obscure some of the more annoying flaws.

Like to see anything new from the Mega Man franchise, but unless the idiots at Capcom commit mass seppuku that's not gonna happen.

Aside from that, I'd like to see this guy make a return...

Still one of the most fun games I've ever played growing up.

I actually think Final Fantasy IX stands up graphically a lot better than most PS1 games
Hell, Final fantasy 9 stands up better graphically than a lot of PS2 games.
I was replaying it recently, and my god are those FMV's pretty. Plus the character designs and backgrounds are still stunning. Although it is worrying sometimes how the facial animations never change during normal gameplay.

Majora's Mask.

No question.

Seriously, it deserves it even more than Wind Waker. Tighten up the controls, polish the visuals, maybe even give us a higher-quality soundtrack.

I will give you all of my money.

I'd really like to see an updated version of Freelancer, an old space trading game. I think if they (preferably somebody who does the following well) took the setting, storyline and basic gameplay concept (space trading/shooting), and mixed in a bit of Elder Scrolls (mahoosive open world, insane moddability) with the incredible graphics that modern gaming PCs are capable of, I think they'd have something really good on their hands.

Or I could just play Star Citizen.

I wouldn't mind seeing Legoland on the PC released on GoG or something. The problem is the game is a full on 32-bit game, but for some strange and unknown reason it's installer is a 16-bit .exe and that won't function on 64-bit computers. Plus the game can't be run on DosBox, it crashes when in XP mode, and it's not compatible with VirtualPC.

This too, and while I love Wind Waker I love Majora's Mask way more. Seriously, Nintendo has no problem rereleasing and remake Ocarina of Time like a million times, yet it never does it for Majora's Mask. Yes there was the Gamecube edition, crashed a lot for me, and the one on the Wii market place, but there has never been a true remake for it, just a port.

They did remake the Legends games on the PSP, but my god those are some of the worst ports I've ever played. The originals look better than the ones on the PSP, and apparently the reason why they can't release them onto the PSN is due to licensing issues with the music and voice actors. But if anything I want my Megaman Legends 3 dammit! Capcom slapped me in the face with what they did to Legends 3. >.>

Blade Runner (PC, 1997)

G-Police (PS1, 1997)

Xenogears (PS1, 1998)

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (PC, 2003)

However I would only bother with a real remake.

Final Fantasy VI. As long as they actually didn't change anything, just made it all pretty. I spent hundreds of hours on that game as a kid through to even now I still pick it up.

My idol Celes looking all fancy and cool, I would love to see all the facial expressions Locke makes, and Edgar failing at charming Terra, and how freaking adorable Mog would be, and so on. So many emotional scenes in there that if done correctly would be so moving.

I'll stick with my usuals. I'd love to see a remake or Tales of Symphonia for the Wii U. It'd be really awesome to see a Baten Kaitos Origins remake for the Wii U as well. But going a bit further back, I'd love to see them put the N64 Bomberman games on the virtual console or something, I really enjoyed those games and would love to be able to play them again without having to use an emulator of break out my N64.

That's all I can think of right now, although I'm sure there are more.

I would really like to see a revival of the Mutant League sports games. They don't have to be super nice graphics or anything, I mean I think the visuals from Orcs Must Die or even World of Warcraft would compliment a Mutant League: Football game quite nicely.

I'd like to see the first two Red Faction games with updated graphics. I also wouldn't mind seeing an improved version of Chromehounds.

Not to mention bugs and compatibility with newer operating systems.
Also, the fact that Red Faction 2 completely breaks if more than one monitor is connected is somewhat annoying.

OT: KotOR was ninja'd.

I've been playing Castlevania: SotN on my Vita, and I'd love a remake with updated graphics. Don't change the 2D sidescrolling, just make it more high-res.

I also want the original Broken Sword ported to the Vita. Highly unlikely though, since the DS and Wii got one already.

People often tell me this idea is brilliant: remake Star Wars: Republic Commando.
Instead of making a sequel, which fans have LONG awaited, just extend the original game by a couple more planets (that would be enough to wrap up the narrative, most likely, though they could add as many as they want). You could do it in the same way that was done for Halo: CE Anniversary, where they updated all the textures and you could press a button to switch between graphics. The engine was wonderful; they wouldn't really have to change a damn thing. Jedi and rogue clone troopers would be new enemy types - prolonging the original's somewhat short campaign - as the Commandos are forced to hunt them down in accordance with protocol, creating an AWESOME conflict. Perhaps so much so that the squad would break apart (i.e., Fixer, being devoted to his duty as a soldier, and sticking by the rules, wouldn't really think of disobeying orders to kill Jedi, whereas someone like Scorch, who is brash and less concerned with orders from higher up the chain, would only be thinking of Sev's safe return. It would be up to you, the player, to decide which route you take. If you stay with the Republic, you and Fixer go on a killing spree, essentially, supposedly "doing the right thing" by obeying and playing by the rules, and forcing Scorch to break away to search for Sev on his own. Or if you go rogue with Scorch, Fixer would be the one to leave, and you try to find your brother in the dense forests of Kashyyyk, possibly even on the forest floor, where even Wookiees fear to tread).

New weapons would be a possibility, though their inclusion wouldn't be necessary.

They could also make the multiplayer... you know... not suck. They would have all the time in the world to make better maps, and improve upon the character customization and such. Additionally, there's no reason why they couldn't incorporate the squad commands into the multiplayer. One player signals for someone to take up a sniping position, which appears on every player of the same team's HUD, while another takes point. It could add levels upon levels of strategy to a stagnant, dull-as-dishwater FPS multiplayer scene. Being able to issue commands in complex maps would be a thing of beauty. Players wouldn't have to listen either, perhaps because they have a better plan, they're gonna lone-wolf stealth-kill everybody, or they're just a douche, it doesn't matter. All these factors decide who wins (usually being the most tactile, clever, cooperative team). Doors to enemy bases (or good sniping positions or whatever else) could be hackable as well, so you could have technicians keeping everything running smoothly, silently, and efficiently - like Fixer. And if you're gonna do THAT, why not have the ability to blow doors up with charges? Of course, that would alert enemies to your presence (on the minimap), so watch out... Things like dormant droids in the map could be rewired to fight for your side or provide a clever distraction... or rigged with explosives and sent to creep up behind people (Creepers... outside of Minecraft? MY GOD.)

The game had such great controls, and really got the whole squad-command thing down. The physics were awesome, the enemies were tactical (maybe not the droids, so much, but what they lacked in AI, they made up for in numbers and firepower), the story was great, and you really felt like a commando. If they did do a sequel, most likely it would suffer from either being dumbed down or having feature creep ("Hey, they liked all THESE features... what if we add THESE ones too!?"). The game would probably be short, again, as they explore the narrative I described above which could be taken care of in about three planets. The engine would definitely be new, so the game just wouldn't FEEL the same, no matter what. And the multiplayer would probably become the main focus, as is the way of shooters these days, rather than the singleplayer. I want them to IMPROVE the multiplayer, not make it the focal point.

But... methinks I'm being too hopeful.
