I'm currently staring at some fantastically underrated games from the past. Just wondering, if you could get a well made sequel/remake of any games you wanted, what would you pick?

For me, it'd have to be (if you don't know, google them):

War of the Monsters, Chromehounds, Gladius, and maybe a reboot of Heart of Darkness.

Edit: Also, Shadowrun (FPS) anyone?

Let's see a Shenmue III, amirite?
The fact that we might never see closure to that story is criminal.

Also: Eternal Darkness.

Dark Sector. That is, if they improved everything that was wrong with it (of which there is so much.)

Ya know, if they added an actual story, fixed the bugs and glitches, fixed melee and pacing, etc etc.

The demo was enough to persuade me to steer clear of that game, it all seemed fairly linear, and I really couldn't get into it. I don't think it was successful enough for the devs/publisher to consider a sequel.

Heart of Darkness, the game that was THE game of my childhood and introduced me to gaming as a whole.

Epic, mind blowing, awesome game.

I was stupid enough to buy it full price day one. The Glaive was actually a terrific mechanic. It never got boring. It's just that the entire rest of the game was shit. Perhaps if them developers had bothered to actually finish the game it could be good...

The Glaive was good, but I found myself repeatedly relying on it, and nothing else. That's when I decided the game wasn't for me.

There was just something about slicing 3 enemies' heads off in a row, in slow-mo that never got old to me.

I'd say Half Life: Opposing Force. Shepherd is a bit of a lost cause in the Half Life series at the moment, and OpForr was by far my favourite of the Half Life games, closely followed by Ep2.

Edit: Changing Half Life 2: Opposing Force to Half Life: Opposing Force ^^

Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines.

Please.
I second that. Also, a movie set in the World of Darkness is needed. I hate this girly emo trend in modern vampire franchises. I want my manly awesome vampires back.

Indeed.
I'd also like to nominate Super Mario RPG, just for another super awesome game.
And, of course, a real KotOR 3 would make me orgasm.

Star Wars: Republic Commando! It ended in a cliffhanger perfect for a sequel...

But nope. NOPE.

I was going to say that, but I thought it ended quite well. How would they continue it?

Edit: Damn ninjas.

I wouldn't mind an Evil Genius 2, and considering Rebellion bought the rights a sequel might not be completely out of the question.
