I liked Andrew Ryan in Bioshock. His ideas were great, it's just the people under him corrupted them.

I felt bad for...well (attempts to dodge spoilers)...golf clubs...yeah

I actually yelled at the TV because I wanted to stop with the golf club

I was gonna say this one too. Heck I was even hoping for a helghast P.O.V. game because of their backstory.

Killzone 3 needs to be from the Helghast POV. And Rico needs to die. Painfully.

prototype, your a monster in that game, they had to make the militaty as monsterous as they could to try and make you feel less sorry for them but its a trick

.......Are you serious? What the military did in that game WAS monsterous killing people along with the infection, but I agree that the main character was more of a monster

Well I feel sorry for John Henry Eden close to the end of Fallout 3. He may have had a better chance to fix the wasteland if he had have been more... proactive. Because I mostly blew stuff up .

At the end of Neverwinter Nights 2, you should feel sorry for at least some of the guys you are fighting against *spoiler hint* it was only two of them for me. And I hated the king of Neverwinter.

Also, I'm tempted to hate really annoying protagonists you find in most FPSs.

But in terms of liking the bad guy more than the good guy? Only Braid, where... Well, I don't know how to do one of those spoiler things, but most of you should know what I mean.

On topic, I feel bad for some of the leaders you set up for the gangs in Far Cry 2. You get to choose who gets into power...then you have to kill them.

The super mutants in fallout 3. They're regular human beings who were subjected to horrific experiments that caused them to lose their intelligence and gender identity. You kill hundreds of them throughout the game with no remorse. Tut tut lone wanderer.

But they started it! It is kinda bad that they were normal people, but surely that's no excuse to kill or kidnap any person you see.

Everything that we do harms this planet and our fellow humans. We fight, kill, steal, destroy, pollute, and drive other species to the point of non-existance. To me, our race should have been terminated a long time ago, thus this planet wouldn't be in the shape it is now.

In Prototype I kind of wanted the military to win. Sure their methods were unorthodox, but in a situation like that some sacrificed would have to be made. I mean by the end 82% were infected

For me I find myself feeling more sorry for the Colossi in Shadow of the Colossus then the nameless hero. The Colossi didn't do anything, it even says that they are peaceful beings in the Instruction manual and this guy goes around stabbing them in the head for his own selfish purposes.

I'm pretty sure the game was designed to give you that feeling.

I'd say the cops in Mirror's Edge. They're pursuing a known murder only to get kicked off a building.

Yea FFVII, i really couldnt stand cloud and his group for the first 5 hours of the game.

That was the sacrifice Square made in order to create the greatest most badass villain ever ever ever.
He had to be way cooler than the hero(es). Their swords were awkwardly and comically oversized, but his was just a regular old samurai sword, except it was fourteen thousand yards long.

I also sympathized with the antagonist of Guitar Hero 3, I mean how badass is the devil and he just wanted someone to play a concert for him.
