My two games!

Quest 64. Such an awesome game! I actually enjoyed the combat. And I loved the music.

The other was Wipeout 64. Gods that was one of the best sci-fi racing games I enjoyed playing. Nothing else really was fun to me unlike this one!

Mercenaries: playground of destruction

Viewtiful Joe
Actually, I wasted about a few months of my life playing that game. It was amazing. I did all the cheats to get tons of money and all the Merchant unlocks so it was Mercenaries: Fucking Vehicles and Explosions.

I loved getting in a super fast car, putting all the C4 I had on it, and drove it to the maximum speed into a town, jumping out of the car, and blowing it up while it was still moving. Badass.
haha yep Fucking Vehicles and Explosions is about right. Probably the most fun game I've ever played in my life. if only the ps3 slim had backward compatibility :/

my favorite trick was to line up about 10 NK light jeeps side by side, put c4 under them and blow all of the C4 at the same time. If looks like multiple ballistic missiles taking off at the same time. good times good times

How can I forget this game?! D:

While the combat was a bit difficult and I didn't like the fact that once a character died, he/she would be gone for good, it was a wonderfully in-depth game.

Those would definitely have to be some of the best games that I've played, and yet are very very infrequently mentioned, if at all!

EDIT: Throw Icewind Dale in there as well.
I would have you know that user-made modules for NWN 1 are still getting released. Not daily, maybe not weekly, but there are still people making them. Just because they don't get mentioned often on this site, it doesn't mean no one remembers those games :)

Beyond Good and Evil. I bought it for gamecube on a whim and I gotta say it was the most surprise fun I've ever had.

Ogre Battle Series, that is all.

I would say Bahamut Lagoon but it doesn't count seeing as it was exclusive to Japan....what a shame.

And yet another one that I played a lot on my computer in the nineties was Shogo: Mobile Armor Division. Long forgotten, apparently ...

I actually own a copy of that somewhere. The best weapon by far was that teddy bear you could point and squeeze at the enemy. Didn't do anything but make them flinch and scream, but it was sooooo cute. xD
I remembered that some levels really were challenging. I actually even used noclipping in one level to finish it. [sub]Please don't judge me.[/sub]

I remember a few of these games you all are mentioning. But here's a game I loved that nobody I know seems to remember.

World of Illusion was short but sweet, God I played this game over and over again.

These are the games that you might don't know, but that are still pretty damn sweet.

SWEET!

[sub]You better get that reference, damn you![/sub]

I'd say that way too few people know about Nanosaur.

Even though I won't shut up about it
Hah, that game is in my school library.
