Halo 3.
I'm kidding, I'm kidding.
I'd have to say any of the tales series. Those games, (Opinion alert) are much better than any final fantasy game you'll ever play. And yet Final Fantasy has all the love.

Anybody remember MediEvil, or is it just me? I thought that game was fantastic, back in the day...

Holy ass! I thought I was the only person in my state who ever played that game!

Metal Arms: Glitch in the System.

Probably my favorite game of all time and not one single person I have ever met has known about it. It was amazing. You can actually find it on the Xbox Originals list for download on the Xbox Live marketplace. Its $15 though, so if you find a copy in a Gamestop, its well worth it.
I had this and you are right. Fantastic game!

I downloaded this game as soon as I saw it on the PSN.

Super Mario RPG for SNES! That game is amazing! Still one of my favorite RPG games to date. Fun, simple combat. Funny dialogue, gorgeous areas (for its time, and they actually aged fairly well) You can get it on the vitrual console if you own a wii, but I just keep my SNES working and have my original cartridge =P Sadly though... Nobody ever talks about it, or seems to have heard about it even.

Ummm, I would say Beyond good and evil but a fair few people on this site know about it.

At least all the ones that did, because it's fucking awesome.
Beyond Good and Evil doesn't count because everyone knows about it because nobody knew about it before. Now everyone remembers it as "that game that was quite good but nobody gave a cat's arse", so it doesn't really count.

Everybody knows Age of Empires III but nobody ever mentions AoE II anymore and I practically grew up with that game, I was so into it when I was in elementary school you could almost say AoEII was my third parent and played a role in bringing me up (OK no you couldn't but you get that I liked this game a lot). On a side-note it really sucks the Halo Wars had to be Ensemble's last game because now the developer has a bad reputation for making shitty games that they can't reverse because they no longer exist, when really it was just Halo Wars.

JET FORCE GEMINI? Oh God, I LOVED that game as a kid! I played it constantly; I can't believe I'd forgotten about it!

Aaahh... Lost Vikings and Blackthorne, the games that turned me into a Gamer. I'd played other games before those, but never reached the level of dedication that I did with Lost Vikings and Blackthorne.

Also, Bushido Blade 2, that game is still wicked fun every time I go back and wade through the singleplayer.

Great fucking game isn't it?

I never did beat it though. I got stuck on the part where you have to collect all the pieces to the spaceship.

Couldn't find the last piece.

Panzer Dragoon was really good. Reasons why no one remembers it though:
1. It was originally released on the Saturn
2. Panzer Dragoon Saga only got like 30,000 copies
3. Sega is completely retarded and has left the series to gather dust while they make more Sonic games.

I agree. And it was so short ... I would have loved more of it.

I remember playing this in the nineties over at a friend's house. That was such an amazing game. It's for sale on the Playstation Store. I never had it in my possession, so maybe I'd have to consider buying it online.

I don't know if anyone remembers this game, but it was on the PC. Atlantis: The Lost Tales. I got it as a present almost 15 years ago, I guess.

I thought it was fairly good and I had a great time playing it. There's so much mystery around Atlantis, how can you not like this game.

Oh and why didn't No One Lives Forever 1 and 2 gain more fame? Two great spy shooters, forgotten by their development studio.

And yet another one that I played a lot on my computer in the nineties was Shogo: Mobile Armor Division. Long forgotten, apparently ...
