Was the capital R supposed to be ironic?

OT: Crysis Warhead - I can run Crysis on a hybrid of high and very high with a solid frame rate. When everything is on high/gamer in Warhead (which is supposedly better optimised) I'm hitting around 15FPS.

Because I'm not a whiny ***** (like some who bought Crysis and expected very high settings to work on a Pentium 4 and a Geforce 6200) I just accept that something inside just doesn't click quite right with the game. Still finished it anyway. It just looked shit (and would still only get to mid-20s on the frames).

I would've been really pissed off if I'd bought bioshock when it first came out at full price.

Fortunately I bought it 2 years later for ?27 which it is worth (barely).

Rouge Warrior wins by default.

Two-and-a-half hours long, no replay value and it's a bug-wriddled mess. All for $50.

In Australia, any new release on the ps3 (I don't care how damn fantastic it is, $110 is obscene). I fact, any full priced retail game, a $100 starting mark is plain retarded, especially when teh same game can be imported from elsewhere for ~$60 (usually cheaper)...

Specificially, I can't think of anything recently I've bought. I'd say left 4 dead 2, but that's dirt cheap so it probably is worth it. I guess Modern warfare 2, as I hear the campaign is short and the multiplayer butchered, but I didn't bother with it so I'm hardly an authority.

I TRADE most of my games with my friends. It's less of a let-down to know I didn't pay to play a bad game. But I did purchase DJ Hero. What was I thinking?

lol, trade, lmao

OT: The Elemental Gearbolt briefcase. I believe the last one sold for around 3 grand.

I like EG, but not that much.

Bad games? Boogie.

Ugh... I hate Boogie.

Paintball 2009 for Xbox, it's not even worth the £20 I paid. I feel sorry for whoever spent £40.

The only games that I feel are worth the money you spend are MMO's. I can buy 2 games for £40 each and I'll get bored of them both within a month, I can play an MMO (and probably not get bored) for a month, and for a lot less.

Osmos [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/326.161590], even though I bought on sale for only 2.50$. That doesn't change the fact that it became so bad that I couldn't even beat it. Such a shame.

I watched the Context Sensitive review of that once.

I was never the same after seeing the gameplay.

Army of Two. Thankfully, the mad fun when playing co-op, the upgradable weapons and the DLC that added two more levels kind of blinded me from the fact that the game wasn't worth 69.99 ?. Still fun, though.

I can see this thread is going to contain an awful lot of the words "Warfare" and "Modern", possibly with a "2" thrown in for good measure
Maybe because it lasts around four hours and has a reskinned multiplayer that is hardly different from the previous two games? AND it costs over full price.

Modern Warfare 2. I didn't actually buy it (played my brothers copy), but if I had it wouldn't have been worth it because the campaign is so short and I have no interest in the multiplayer.

The first assassins creed wouldn't have been worth the full price either, I got it pre-owned really cheap and it was so repetitive.

Super smash bros brawl, left 4 dead, and gears of war. SSBB was just shit, l4d was repetitive, and gears multiplayer sucked, especially because they didn't have hardcore mode.

That game was worth every penny and then some.

As for a game that wasn't worth the money I spent. Probably Dawn of War 2, because I have only played it for a couple hours since it was released...
