Beyond Good & Evil. Okay so its a cult classic, but every time I try to mention this game to a group of friends they go "who?", or "what?", or "DOI IM THICK AND TEH ONLEE GAEM I PLAE ISS MW2 AND EVRYTING ELS SUCKZ BAWLS CUZ IM THICK ADN HAET ORANGE-IH-NAHL-IH-TEE."

If you quote this post and convincingly tell me that you've also played this epic game, I will award you with a hug (No homo).

There is a lot of motorboating (AS jade, not ON), sneaking up on giant green men in armor and kicking them in the butt to subdue them, and fart powered rocket boots by a ManBearPig uncle. Also a fantabulous game, I'm sorry you have sucky friends.

Though who am I to talk, I have the same problem when talking about Baldur's Gate with my friends. Rpg enthusiasts.. HAH! All talk..

How about Krusty's Super Fun House? I still remember that game and how ridiculous it got... but only one person I've spoken to seems to remember playing it.

The one I mention every time one of these threads comes around is Colosseum: Road to Freedom. I absolutely love the game but I have yet to see one other person mention the damn thing.

Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts
I don't care if it was released a few years ago. Nostalgic fanboys damned it to the farthest reaches of space.
Great game though.

It's a good game but it totally screws up the franchise as platform

And that's why it is no longer remembered except as something that "RAEP'D MA CHIELDHUD! WAAAAA!"

There is a reason it wasn't called Banjo Kazzoie 3.

Anyway the game for me is Buck Bumble that game was awesome.

Are you afraid of the dark: The tale of Orpheo's curse.

It's a surprisingly atmospheric myst clone, especially considering its based off a TV show. Creeped my sister and I out when we were kids.

Anyone else ever heard of 'Alter Echo'? It was an action-adventure game that my friend showed my on his old Xbox a few years back, I subseuently got it for PS2. Feel quite bad now for selling it, since it was a great game. You play a guy called Nevin, who basically goes on this mission to kill a crazy psychic guy called Paavo and his two sadistic minions with the help of an old grumpy gun-wielding guy, a sassy sexy woman who's great with a sword, and some weird shape-shifting suit that allows you to switch between gun, sword and stealth forms. You needed to use different forms to kill different enemies and solve different puzzles through the game. Good game, but no-one seems to have heard of it save me and my friend who first showed it me...
Every time I talk about that game, no one seems to remember. But now, I have found another who has experienced this game!

BTW, Nevin is still my number one least favorite character.

Future Cop L.A.P.D on the PS1.

Anyone heard of that?
Yes. I played the demo to death on PC because it was one of the few games you could run 2 player.

My choice: Interstate '76.

I always loved SCUD the Disposable Assasin but the only copy I have ever seen in my area has been the one my uncle and aunt sent me for my birthday years back. On top of that, nobody even seems to remember it at all when I bring it up as one of my favorites.

Carlson and Peters!!!
Dude, not only did I play the game, I was at one point in the top 30 on the now defunct "most wanted list", which was where you entered the code you get online and it ranks your performance based on pearls collected, time completed, animals photographed etc.

Now where's my hug? On second thought, hugs are immasculating. Lets just headbutt, fist-bump, shotgun a beer, and call it a day.

I remember a game where you could play as a white-haired kid who could transform into monsters by taking their coins or a girl with Chakras, me and a good buddy a couple years ago played it at a guys house when we were both around 9, if only I remembered what the games name was, I loved playing it.
