any of the Heroes of Might and Magic games. because they are hard as fuck. if any of you complete one of the HOMM games (especially 3) on the hardest difficulty, i wont use my studded wristbands for a year.

Saints Row 2... Very nearly there...
Did you happen to like the Story Line?

I was leaps and bounds more interested in the storyline for SR2 than GTAIV and that wasn't even the selling point of SR2 :p.

Maybe it was because I was using that grissly white guy voice, it fit the dude I made perfectly.
I loved the story line, the fucked up logic of creating a hell hole for civilians and wiping out any other gangs was written very well.

Also, from the sounds of it, you picked the cockney accent as well...
That's what that damn accent is called! Lord its been bothering me since I made this post.

I don't think I've ever come across a game that deserves the hours I put into them for 100 percent completion.

After a while, it ceases being fun and starts feeling like a chore. One that rewards nothing.

Loved the Jak games, Spyro 2, I'd say Oblivion and Fallout 3, but I have added so many different locations weapons and enemies to them that I probably can't actually find everything now. Just how I like it.
Also I had alot of fun with last gen GTA's 3, Vice and San Andreas. The rewards were pretty hilarious and worth it.
I also loved Bully, my secret shame.
Most metroidvanias too.

Fallout 3, Oblivion, and Mass Effect. All of them are high-quality games, so you won't be annoyed at having to replay them time after time, and getting all of the achievements in all three is very easy, so you'll be compensated for your time.

IS it even possible to finish Oblivion 100%? I've heard so much about the size of this game, I feel that if I started, I'd have to include my save game in my will when I die of old age to be passed on to a future generation to continue for me.

i can't think of any games that i wanted to 100% but i got 2 friends how has a lot of games they try to 100%.
The first one try to 100% every game that he has because he is an achivement whore. And it is realy funny to watch him suffer his way through hard mode of a game he hate because he needs the hard achivement.
My 2nd friend want to 100% final fantasy games. And everyone who tried to 100% FFX-2 know what kind of blind luck you need to do it.

If we're talking about 100% achievements there are very few games I have this on, because they violate one of my rules of achievements:

1. Any game that requires I rely on another person to get an achievement. I absolutely hate this. Saints Row 2 required me to play the ENTIRE GAME in online co-op to get several of the achievements, not to mention the multi-player vs aspect of it.

2. Any lengthy game where getting the achievement requires an entire run through. When I finished Fallout 3, I went through it twice. All I had left were 4 achievements, all of them for having neutral Karma at various levels. 4 achievements is not worth another 40-50 hours of my time.

3. Any achievements that are unreasonably time-consuming or really boring. Any "get a ridiculous number of kills" achievements go in here.

That said, I've 100% Oblivion, back when I had the time for 3 playthroughs, and I am pretty sure I will 100% Borderlands, even though it had about 4 achievements that violate rule #1.

Definitely these games:
Bully- Sure it is a bit wimpy, but punching cops in the face on a bike is totally awsome.
Saint's Row 2- I think just for the customization I was hooked, but the gameplay is awsome and what not.
Silent Hill 2 and 4- My favorties. I love the magical wand thing.

The only game I can really remember 100 percenting properly (every collectible item discovered, every secret area found) was [small] Lego Star Wars[/small].

COD 4, getting that epilogue on veteran achievement is worth it for the bragging rights.
Not really, it not very hard at all. Though everyone seems in awe of me doing it first time round. It was funny. My mates like:

"Ok you do it then!"
"kay"
"..."
"..."
"..."
"..."
"FUCK YOU!"
"lol"
Yeah, I don't get why people think that the epilogue was so hard on veteran. One Shot, One Kill and the level after that are way, WAY harder. Seriously, I think I only died a scant few times on the epilogue and something like 60 times and over 4 hours on One Shot, One Kill on my first attempt to beat it on veteran.
