GTA:San Andreas- I hated the game, everything from the stupid leveling system to the big open terrain to the retarded 'gangsta' (not to be confused with mobster or gangster) rapper setting
Wait, What? There was no leveling system.

Anyway, Half life 2, LOVED the first game one of the best fps games of the time, Half life 2 had allmost nothing to do with the first (Or the mods blue shift etc) apart from gman, It basicly said "Combine are bad, shoot dem!!1".

I never liked Chrono Trigger.
The battle was too dry for me, grinding like I do (20+ levels what most people are normally at) took a LOT away from the game's "fun factor", and it just didn't give me the 'Wow' that most people are spooging over.
I have friends telling me to keep playing, that it'll pick it up at the next turn, I'll feel that static awesome in the next fight, that greatess will hit me like a watermelon wrapped with a goldbrick in a bedsheet at the next--
Yeah, no. I just don't like it, and can't see why everyone else does.

But, there was no grinding in Chrono Trigger. It was so easy that you could go the entire game without grinding.

Like many have said. Halo. EXPECIALLY Halo 3.

Dont get me wrong, when i get together with some friends and play it its fun ( but thats probably more the comradery of it than the actuall game).

But the fact that everything about it is treated with Jesus level worship makes no sense.

Runescape, lots of people love it and play it but its utter crap, there are a ton of other games that are free online that have better gameplay and graphics

San Andreas also tracks acquired skills in areas such as driving, firearms handling (when skills are high enough, double-wielding of certain weapons is possible), stamina, and lung capacity, which improve through use in the game.[16] CJ may also learn three different styles of hand-to-hand combat (boxing, kung fu and kickboxing) at the gyms in each of the game's three cities.
I think you may be confusing it with another game, as it was typically praised for its inclusion of RPG elements (or at least it seems that way among most people who speak about the game). I, however, hated it.

FF 7 - maybe the story was just ruined for me by fanboys but I found playing it like pulling teeth.

Fallout 3 - I guess I went into that game with too much expectation and looking for something like Oblivion which Fallout definitely isn't.

God of War series: I tried the first one, both on a PS2, and the HD remke on PS3. Just, so, boring. Bayonetta did everything it did, better.

Devil May Cry series: I've tried DMC 1 and 3, and Bayonetta did everything better. Heck, Dynasty Warriors is more fun.

Kingdom Hearts series: Tried 1 and 2, and was turned off by the horrible gameplay and the annoying Disney characters. Probably doesn't help that I don't care for Disney... Although Chain of Memories on the GBA was pretty fun...

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion: Make an open-world game, claim it to be an RPG, when there's no Roleplaying in it. Take out a bunch of weapon types and spells that was in the previous game, while improving how combat works. Worst part? Make such a big massive world, tell you to explore, put NOTHING in said world, and just let you teleport round everywhere for FREE. Oh yeah, big fun. Except, y'know, it's not.

Fallout 3: Oblivion with guns, nuff said. First 2 weren't very good, either...

World of Warcraft: It's just not that good to me, I can't force myself to like it. Thinkin' abotu givin it another shot after Cataclysm comes out, sicne it's suppose to really change a lot fo stuff

Baldur's Gate: Horrible controls. I just absolutely HATED the interface and control scheme, and it really just killed any fun I could have possibly had with the game.

Planescape: Torment: See above.

Only thing I can think of right now is Borderlands. Its a fun game and all, but there are so many things I'd rather do. I originally bought it for the multiplayer, but the only one of my five friends who has it who can get MP to work is the one who pirated it. So I never got close to finishing.

Mass Effect, I suppose it comes down to personal taste but even though Jade Empire is one of my favourite games of all time I just didn't like it.

played it thinking "pchay, like its really as good as they say"

Any fighting game.

But if I have to get specific, Modern Warfare 2.

Maybe it's just the fact that I don't really prefer being sniped 30 seconds after every respawn from someone half a map away. Maybe it's just the fact that it's not TF2.

Maybe I'm just a dick.

The world may never know.

Aside from the ones already mentioned, like Halo and MW2...

Any kind of grindfest with a flimsy story...whether it's a MMORPG like World of Warcraft (any MMORPG really) or other, like the Monster Hunter franchise.

In general I am disappointed with the 7th generation for transforming people into total gfx whores preferring presentation over content and multiplayer over singleplayer.
I'll give you the grindfest part, but WoW does not have a shallow story. Just go to wowwiki and spend a few hours clicking lore links. It is very in depth, and there are hundreds of storylines which all ultimately join in some way.
Yeah, WoW's story is pretty huge with many arcs and branches. If you skip reading every quest text and never pay any attention you'll still end up seeing some of the lore involved.
There's dozens of novels and tales about heroes and events that it is a bit much.

That said, the lore is really quite absurd at some points and I ended up not caring for most of what they have recently done. Just a personal opinion though, they still seem to put a lot of time and effort into things.
Yeah, I'm not that happy with the recent 'big' lore. Things like what happened to Kael'Thas, Illidan and the like are bothersome. Such great characters killed off with no emotion. At least with Arthas they fleshed him out even more in the expansion. On the smaller scale, a lot of the sub-sub-sub-sub-plots of the game are pretty good, and the characters from the earlier games are actually really good. I shed a manly tear at what happened to Bolvar Fordragon.

Sometimes it all comes down to personal taste though. I'd never have known that I wouldn't like Medal of Honor: Airborne, because the description seems like a great game. I can't even pinpoint the exact reason why I dislike it.

CoD MW2 and WaW are it for me. I just can't comprehend how people enjoy either of them so much. I mean shooters are my favorite genre, but to me those are two of the absolute worst shooters I've ever played.

Never will I approve of the whole current CoD killstreak system. It has no place in the genre and is only there to entertain the casual masses with some cheap payoff. Owning peoples' faces off should be enough of satisfying feeling IMO.

There's about a dozen other reasons too that I could argue about for hours.

TF2 - tried several times go get into it and found nothing, nothing enjoyable about the experience. It even looks ugly.

No - I'm not trying to troll people, this is how I feel.
Of course it looks ugly, that's the point of it.

agreed
and whilst it may not be the bast in everybody's eyes it should come damn near the top of the list
(that is unless they think that goos graphics = good game... which isn't true)
