TimeSplitteres, the second one mostly.

TimeSplitters 2 is the most fun FPS ever made.
I dont quite get the way people veiw the third one, im not just having a go at you here guy, you may generally like the second more, but although the second was one of my favourite games of all time (just fun on fun) I think the third was better as it had all the levels, more modes and alot more character depth, not to mention the fun times with Cortez and the rest of the cast.

The intro scene with Jo-Beth and the basment ladder scene were two of the funniest times ive had in gaming. The elevator scene with Amy Chen too. IN FACT THE WHOLE F'ING GAME WAS JUST HILARIOUS.
In many ways, Future Perfect was better. I just have more fond memories of playing TS2 with my friends.

Pokemon. all of them.
Ninja'd...Cheers ¬¬!

I'd say the Halo games (I admit they do get to much praise though), Transformers WFC, Saints Row 2, and of course Digimon world 1-3 but i haven't played them in years.

Bioshock and Saints Row 2 are great games and encapsulate everything a good game should have. Bioshock has an excellent story and Saints Row 2 has excellent gameplay, fun for the whole family!

The unnecessary hate this game got when it first came out, yet now its demanded more of than Mega-man X. Still believe this game was far ahead of its time.

Sure you're open to criticism, but if someone rips on that one game. You have to defend it. Games you consider 10/10 and want everyone to love.

What game is it? For me its Jet Set Radio.
The Void. Easily the best art game ever made. EVER!

Gothic I and II
Oh YES! Those games are awesome. Have you tried Risen? If you haven't you should, it's a bit more of a return to the old Gothics after the disappointment that was Gothic 3. Not entirely the same, but very much in the same vein.

and well... Sacred I and II.
Hahaha, nice one. I get it... Sacred is sacred. Or were you serious?

The first rule of talking to me is that one shall never insult Homeworld.

The second rule of talking to me is that you shall never insult Homeworld.

The third rule of talking to me is that I am probably going to try and convince you to buy Homeworld at some point, if you talk to me long enough.

To a lesser extent, I don't like it when people criticise Halo: Reach. However, at least I can actually manage to restrain myself from beating the offender to death with their own proverbial skull if they do that. With Homeworld, I don't even try to restrain myself... it's a good thing virtually nobody is insane enough to dislike it or mention their dislike around me.
I love homeworld. It, oblivion, all valve games, fallout 3, saints row 2 and many more i will stand up for.

I can accept any criticism of even my favorite games, but I hate when people complain about the graphics of [insert game here], especially when it's a 10+ year old game. You really expect photo realistic graphics on a PS1 era game? I also hate undue criticism of good games.
I get that a lot when I mention that some of my favourite games are FFVIII or FFIX.

OT - Mostly, the games I grew up with are more likely to be the ones I consider 'sacred' but I wouldn't necessary rate them 10/10. And simply because I consider them to be so doesn't mean I stand up and defend them every time someone bashes 'em.
I know exactly what you mean. Strangely, I hear people say that FFIX had worse graphics than FFVIII. I think this is because FF9 was more "cartoony" so some people think it was not as good or better than FF8 in the graphics department. Truth be told, all the PS1 era FF games had amazing graphics for the system's limitations.

Like you, I don't consider any modern games sacred. Not because they aren't as good or better than the games I grew up with, but because I'm a different person and have different views on games, now.

SW: KOTOR
Deus Ex
Saints Row 2. Screw bland realism!
oh, and the game that I will go down fighting for is SWAT 4. If you have never played this game I don't blame you, but I hate you anyway.

Resident Evil 4! To me, that game is the epitome of gameplay perfection! And you can quote me on that!

The only downside is that I make nitpicky comparisons between that game and present games and I come off as a douche. Like when I played Left 4 Dead with my friend and I realized you could do a 180 turn, I said "Hmmmmm...wonder where they got that from? *cough*RE4*cough*"

Eternal Darkness...which is ironic because that game is anything but sacred being pure evilness in pixel form XD

Though I admit any flaws pointed at it, but I can ignore them, so damn good it is.

Final Fantasy VIII- I had never played an RPG and didn't have any interest to at all. Then one night back in 1999, when our family had ordered Pizza Hut, our order came with a free Playstation Demo Disk as part of their Holidays 1999 Promo. I popped it in and there was a demo for FF8 on the disk. After spending an hour playing the demo, I knew what I wanted for Christmas that year. After I got the game Christmas Day, I was not disappointed by what I playing. Great Story, Memorable Characters, Interesting World, etc. I'll even go as far as to say that it's still my all time favorite Final Fantasy Game; It pretty much shaped my gaming experience all throughout Middle School
