Valkyria Chronicles.... A challenge is setting up the AI to position themselves in proper formations and targeting/atking ppl with better intelligence. Going on hard mode and putting me in the middle of tanks, gatling guns, and machine gun solider so that as soon as I select a person they get shot to death before I walk 5 feet isn't a challenge, it's fcking stupid!! And going on expert taking my tank away then throwing mortars into my base on top of that is just wtf!

Any game that the enemies scale to your level.
When the difficulty just changes the amount of damage the enemy gives and their health.

GT5 special challenges can be BS, like the Top gear Lotus that has almost no traction and the freakin' hippie busses.

Worst offender I know:
C&C3 Kane's Wrath
In addition to the obvious unfair advantages the brutal AI has, instant command of all units, and no reaction time handicap, it also gets twice the resources. And it can build instant counters to your units, even if it hasn't "seen" them on the map.

call of duty 7, the bots in combat training have zero recoil even while being shot and can see you through walls no matter what difficulty you set it to

Unlimited Ragna has pissed me off more than most fighting game bosses. Permaented blood kain without the life depletion, massive defense boost, auto filling meter, damage boost, and landing a single attack regains a good chunk of his life. Even using heavy hitter fighters like Tager or Hakumen (the two singular damaging fighters in the game) just chip away at his health. And that fucker cheats too, big time. I have easily caught him canceling moves that are not technically cancel-able without meter. Abuses the shit out of some of his frame advantage moves and regardless, is given priority even though your moves have higher priority normally. And if he lands one of his distortion drives on you, all your hard work is pretty much in vain.

He's made of total bullshit. I have lost matches against him simply because he'd land some BS distortion drive on me. He's just broken, but I guess that's how it is when it comes to super bosses.

Also, Chaos!! Stop spamming Divine Punishment like a ***** when you're near death!! Same goes for using Condemn to give you invulnerability when you have killing BP you twat!!

Hakumen is an example of your second point. You can totally see it. If I'm playing as Hakumen, he's slow as hell and takes forever to charge his special moves. But if the computer's got him, he gains special abilities in less than a second and unleashes them ridiculously fast, compounded by the fact that he's just 300% my own speed with Hakumen to begin with.
You don't play Hakumen much do you. If you are referring to Unlimited Hakument then yes, his meter charges 3 times as fast; but that's the point of unlimited characters, they're super charged. But a normal Hakumen, even on hardest difficulty, is nowhere near as bad as you say it is. I main Hakumen, and I've wrecked him plenty of times, he's a fucking cake walk compared to the bullshit that are unlimited Ragna and Nu.

Not to mention he isn't about speed. I've dropped matches in less than 30 seconds with him, it's just a matter of using his normals and his drive to build meter quick. He doesn't tend to really start pulling off magatama heavy combos until the opponent is half dead or you've been turtleing against some annoying shit like Nu/Lambda.

I have a lot of hate for computer game foes and NPC's haveing divine insite to what's going on or where you are when they shouldn't. Two examples off the top of my head, original Fable game, if you lock picked a store and snuck in a guard would come walking right in behind you in 20 seconds. No matter where they where they just 'know' you are there, even if you wait till you seem them gone around a far off corner. Also in FPS games, example Borderlands, if you do a long range scope snipe, hit or miss, every foe around them can turn and fire in your direction in a split second knowing where you are, and hit you with pistols and shotguns at that range. Also in that game if you move behind a wall to get out of gunfire, move around to another side of a building or something, when you pop back out everyone is already pointing at you knowing exactaly where you are and fireing away. There really should be a larger time gap for foes and NPC's to figure out where you are.

Flatout: Ultimate Carnage (and the previous ones too). Some opponent(s) is always n% faster than you. So you're always best off not upgrading your car at all. They also cheat the laws of physics when you're not looking. Oh you're saying after crashing you reached your top speed in two seconds on a 90 degree turn. Right.

Bloody AI. It cheats! It frickin' CHEATS! No one can build a factory that fast. I know, because I've tried!
Oh you noticed that eh?
Once in RA2:YR. I had the AI build a prism tower right outside my base which was nowhere near any of it's stuff. If you've played RA2, you know why it shouldn't be able to do that. So naturally I was "WTF?" I don't know what it hoped to gain by doing that since the thing was immediately obliterated by my defences, but it was still odd. It rebuilt the thing several times too before I got sick of it and whipped him out.

Minesweeper.

I swear it just spawns a mine under a square you click at random. There can be NO possible strategy to this game, it's just luck.

Naruto Shippuden: Ninja Storm 2 has a very cheap character that it seems to be not only annoying but also can alter other moves to be unaffected toward him. Deidara, the "Artist" of Akatsuki within the game is abusive to the max by most players, he spams without any cool down of throwing his clay birds, charge at you with a giant clay bird then jump off it as it crashes into you, while after staying in the air and still be throwing birds at you and when he lands instantly do the same thing again...

Even if you manage to get past that, he can Substitute and use a grab very fast that causes the giant clay bird to lift you, blow up, and place you far away so Deidara can repeat all those steps spamming. Becomes very unfair, especially if people use him in rank matches. It's almost impossible to beat a Deidara, unless you trick them (Rare), spam yourself as a Deidara or just quit before the match, but that isn't winning. Using Sasuke (Kirin) is only one able to do most damage, but even then Deidara avoids him easily. It even stresses me, glad you posted this thread so I could comment about it. Thank you.
Yeah, there are always some really really cheap characters and weapons in some online games. There are a lot of games that are fun, but as soon as you take a "fun" game and place a ranking system on it, everyone becomes really cheap. They all use the same characters, weapons, hell, even in card games, like Magic, people will use the same exact strategy as everyone else. It gets to the point, where you got to ask if they can be original at all.

And you're welcome for allowing you this space to vent. I needed it as well.

Pokemon (H)G/(S)S/C. Lance and his god damn Dragonites.
Say hello to my team's saviour for that battle Clubbed (it was funnier when he was a seel...)

One hit kills all dragonites with an ice beam - i love it to bits
I beat his ass with a level 40 Lapras. It was immensely satisfying.

The xbox Magic the Gathering game starts cheating if you win in single player more than 5 times a day. It starts setting your deck so that you get none of the cards you want, and it gets all it's cards.
That happens to me in that game all the time. As a result I haven't one once.

Gran tourismo 5 is terrible for this. You get disqualified for knocking over cones and causing collisions but the AI does it all the time :(

You just need to smack him till he runs off to his moma, although damage to Lao as other G-rank monsters and elder dragons carries over from quest to quest so each time you do it, he's still on the same ammount of health.

oh and Dragon weapons, they fuck his shit up really good. Sakura record's good, esp song and stamina song help like no bodie's bussiness.

But yes, Monster Hunter had some bullshitty things, like ranomd vespoid stinging you at critical moments.
