I'm amazed no one has mentioned CoD:WaW... it just spawns grenades behind you. It makes no sense.

But personally, Fire Emblem games can be bullshit (specifically Shadow Dragon, for some reason).
And Empire Earth AI is a horrible cheater.

Yes. Yes it is. The VS mode manages to be even more fun, if not quite as ridiculously over the top (usually, and my standards when this game is concerned are rather skewed). Between that and the ability to customize every character's moveset very, very thoroughly, among a few other things, it's by far my favourite fighting game. I definitely recommend it.

Basically, there's a very good game in there. You just have to deal with the... unique aesthetic, put it that way. I dislike it, but eh. If you're a fan of anime I guess it's a non-issue.

World At War. On Veteran.

Treyarch, the hell were you thinking? The trench levels are not fun. Your enemy placement is cheap. Your enemy A.I. is cheap. And where did all of those fucking grenades come from?

Fire Emblem.
Fire Emblem Fire Emblem FREAKING FIRE EMBLEM.

I don't care that RNG means RANDOM NUMBER GENERATOR.
If have a unit with a HIT of 92% and a CRT of 34% ant yet i MISS my opponent, but my opponent who has a HIT of 21% and a CRT of 4% GETS A FREAKING CRITICAL ATTACK.
THAT IS FREAKING BULL SHIT.
YES I MAD.
the joys of final fantasy tactics(except in my memories it seemed more reliable then what you experienced(in fire emblem that is))

Ugh i've been playing Doom 3 recently and I swear to god I saw a possessed marine rapidly fire 2 shots from a pump action shotgun and don't even get me started on how guns fired by enemies knock you back while none of yours even seem to slow them down.

Also if the zombies are supposed to be so dumb how do they keep ambushing me?

RTS games are synonymous with cheating. The AI builds twice as fast as the player and things like resources don't seem to phase it's ability to build units in some games.

Racing games also cheat often. In some games, the cars off the screen never seem to get too far ahead or too far behind. And split-second, impossible to avoid driving off the road hair-pin turns don't seem to phase them.

Come to think of it, most old style games that let you adjust difficulty cheat. instead of increasing the AI's behavior, it simply does things like increases their health bars or damage given.

Did I mention how fucking evil it is to make me fight hyper powered versions of the characters?
Ooohohohohohohohohoho.
Ever play the Gold and Black versions of Guilty Gear characters?

You think I-NO is bad as a normal character....try her Gold form on for size.
Speed up
Attack up
Tension gain greatly boosted
Her moves suddenly require no start up or cool down
Overdrive Abilitys are now almost one hit KOs

Its NOT fun at all.

I'm sorry about linking to TVTropes, but come on, this thread was asking for it.
You damn ninja xD

OT: Sometimes the cops in GTA IV seem like they're cheating...always knowing where you are so they can spawn a car just round the corner as you near the edge of the wanted circle. I've spent 15 minutes in a car chase on 1 star because of this before.

I swear the AI in Warcraft 3 cheats all the time. How do they get that many resources in that short a time? How do they build up so dang quickly? How do they know exactly where I am, and exactly when I am vulnerable? It will always be a mystery.

One of the challenges in God Of War 3, Where you had to take out an entire platform of enemies with no weapons. The first 7 times I tried the last enemy would spawn on the opposite end of the platform on the last fucking second.
I remember these, I tried this one challenge (The last one i had left) about 20 times in a row, then i said "FUCK IT!" and came on the Escapist for a half an hour, and then went back and tried again.. Got it first time :) Your much better level headed, if you fluke your way into knocking the larger enemies off quickly and try to avoid smashing heads against walls, you should be fine :)

Monster. Hunter.

Why is it even possible to try to Solo Lao Shan Lung when it's practically impossible unless you've unlocked the quests you only get BY beating him? I don't know, but I do know that Capcom can RAM A SPIKED POLE STRAIGHT UP THEI- sorry, but after losing 3 times in a row, and having upgraded and gotten better equipment and items every time, this is a bit infuriating.

(MHF2 btw, just in case you were wondering.)

I Wanna Be the Guy
if anyone wants a definition of the word FUCKERS
look no further than the people who made this game, because you are guaranteed to call them it about 5 times a minute, which is also how often you die

Every single game "cheats", the "opponent" always has complete knowledge of where you are and what you are doing, it's just down to the game to make it seem like it's fair.

I noticed that when hacking in BioShock, sometimes the end pipe that you're trying to get to will be surrounded by trap tiles. You couldn't even finish the hack if you tried.

Overal AI does not have the limitation of doing 1 thing at the same time in RTS's (RTSI? Plural of RTS would be.... what?) or in racing games. I swear they go way to fast to go through that curve.

Ai be smart man..
