The earlier Command & Conquer games (pre-RA2)
Deus Ex
Resident Evil 1-3 (yeah, I know there's a remake of the first one)
Metal Gear Solid (again, I know there's a remake of this already)

Purely graphical remakes though. Don't touch the gameplay mechanics or story. Or the dialogue like they did in the RE-make for the Gamecube or add stupid shit like backflipping off missiles like they did in The Twin Snakes).

Except maybe a build queue like they had in Tiberian Sun would be a nice addition to the first two C&C games, and a skirmish mode for the original game.

I would like to see a remake of Titanic Adventure Out of Time, it had a cool concept and great atmosphere (that soundtrack still gives me chills), if you could up the graphics and add more to the storyline, it would be even more amazing.

Wait, did I say Pre-RA2? I meant including RA2/YR, but not Generals and the later ones. RA2 is certainly the best in the series, at least gameplay wise.

I'd like to see A Link To The Past with redrawn HD 2D art and a couple of fancy effects, sticking to the isometric 2D style.

Also, I'd like to see a reboot/remake/sequel of Dino Crisis 2, or at least one that retains the action and awesomeness of DC2. A well made remake of the first wouldn't hurt either, with improved AI for the dinosaurs to stalk the player and obviously with improved graphics.

Also, Onimusha deserves to be resurrected, I loved Onimusha 2 back when I had a PS2.

Jak & Daxter. 'Nough said.

Super Metroid with Other M's engine, without the whinning and the bitching.

And last but not least, bring back the good ol' Crash Bandicoot, back when it was developed by Naughty Dog, back when it was good. Not the jagged and raped shell of a Bandicoot that it is now, much like Sonic.

star wars battlefront, the only good star wars game, needs to be remade. if they tuned down the heroes, made more interactive environments and created a stronger campaign, it could easily be a big hitter.

I'd love Perfect Dark to be remade for the PC. There was a source mod, but it's vaporware. Also, it was remade for the Xbox 360. I would have bought it if I kept my 360, but I sold the thing before it came out.

And I really hope Battlefield 3 is essentially a modern remake of Battlefield 2 =)

Before this starts a flamewar, halo is handled by 343 industries now, which is a subsidiary of microsoft, not activision.

Command and Conquer: Red Alert. And I don't want any fancy shit. No new graphics, no new mechanics, no new cutscenes. Just make it run on XP, Vista, 7, and hopefully a bit of future proofing too. Give it support for higher resolutions, and add right mouse button scrolling if it's not in there already (I was sure it was but I can't remember and I get mixed answers when I ask other players about it). I've spent about a week trying to get this to run and I've just had to give up. It's not happening on Windows 7 and the XP partition I was trying to install was being an asshole that didn't want to work so I decided to give up on that to.

So yeah. Just make it run please. That's it. If anyone accuses you of milking EA (like Sony does with their stupid PS2 collection discs; "let's take out PS2 BC and then sell people copies of games they already have but throw in TROPHIES durpaduuuuurp!"), I promise to make them show me which stores they are seeing new computers with Windows 95 or Windows 98 installed on them for sale so I can play the copy I have now, and when they can't show me any, I'll slap them upside the head Gibbs-style for you.

Oh god, I thought Halo was painfully generic back when Bungie was making it and now they're giving it to Activision? ugh

No. Microsoft has Halo still. Bungie is making something new with Activision.

RA2 is indeed awesome, but it doesn't need to be remade. Unlike it's older brother, it works just fine on modern machines (I played it and Yuri's Revenge on Windows 7 easily last year), and it's still quite awesome. Nothing about RA2 needs to be remade, it's still just as great as it ever was.

I'd rather developers started expanding into new creative realms to be completely honest, there have been a lot of great games, it doesn't mean I want to see 5 versions of each of them. I know it's riskier to pitch a new idea rather than a re-boot or a sequel, but in my opinion it really is time for some fresh ideas.

Rollercoaster Tycoon 1 and 2. More a port than a remake, though: the only changes I want are removing the cap on the window size (the original you can run in full-screen 640x480, 800x600, or 1024x768, or windowed any custom size up to 1024x768) and adding a double-zoom mode for future-proofing against uber-high monitor resolutions.

Easier modding would be nice too...and a service for sharing user content online.
