Condemned 2. Yahtzee was spot on with this one. The scarcity of guns actually made Condemned more exciting. Who knew?
Baldur's Gate 2. I don't understand why, but I could never get that deep into the game. Technically it's a good game but it wasn't for me. Incidentally, I loved Planescape Torment.
Half Life 1. See the above. It was technically a great game, but where was the game breakthrough I was expecting?
Doom 3. I don't understand what people like about it. Granted, I played the game in early 2011, so maybe I was spoiled.
The Path. Absolutely horrible game, indie or not. I feel the developer is trying to be artsy but the game just comes off as a confusing mess.
COD 3 and World at War. COD 2 and 4 were such great games.
Mass Effect 2. Instead of getting rid of the shitty minigame and confusing inventory, they replaced the minigame with another shitty minigame and killed the inventory system altogether.
With the exceptions of Doom 3 and The Path, I didn't despise the games I listed. In fact, I enjoyed them. I just felt that they didn't live up completely to my expectations.
