Every FPS game that no one is capable of shutting up about.
Pretty much this.

Hack and slash games, such as Bayonetta and God of War. Get bored after so many waves of the same kind of enemys.

Final Fantasy VII and Ocarina of Time. Don't get me wrong; I like them, and think they're quite good games. But i don't think they deserve half the hype they get.

Halo Franchise:
Just hated, no matter how hard I tried
Call of Duty Franchise:
Thought the first and Second were okay but they went downhill from that and Modern warfare 2 was absolutely terrible

halo. and any other vanilla shooter. bang bang. game's done.
what else? the pre-SOTN castlevania series. boring as hell, like mario with a different art style.
The force unleashed: where the hell was the rest of my game? i paid 60 bucks and got what, 8 hours of gaming? less? repetitive gaming at that.
Mario games. god I hate those, to the point where I learned to do my own plumbing. (just kidding about hating plumbers because of mario, not kidding about the plumbing)
FF7. it was crap for many, many reasons.

And Alyx Vance is officially the most creepy character in any video game. And the game company thought that the players are such lifeless losers that they'd give him (you) a girlfriend, who worships the ground you walk on. Whenever I see Alyx I think of the way Valve were using her to sell games, and it creeps me out.
I don't agree with the rest of your post, but this is definitely true. In Half-Life 2, Alyx acted like an affectionate sister. In Episodes 1 and 2, apparently as a response to player reactions, she was much more romantic. I started Episode 1 the moment I finished Half-Life 2, and the sudden and dramatic shift in Alyx's personality creeped me the fuck out.

There are a lot of FPSs that I could never get into. Halo, Modern Warfare 2, F.E.A.R, and Borderlands are the best examples of popular FPSs that I couldn't stand.

Also, I haven't played much Final Fantasy, but I really didn't like what I played. I think I don't like non-handheld JRPGs, though I don't have enough of a sample size to be sure.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. It was so very very bad, and yet so very very popular. To this day, I've only met one other person who didn't think it was some kind of gift from on high. Eugh.
I also thought Dragon Age was a bit lacklsuter; not bad, mind, but it was kind of a step down for Bioware.

never played the twilight princess ( *insert sad face here* ) but i am with you on the Dragon Age though, bioware just put the bar to high when they made the 1st neverwinter ^^ never again will they achieve that high rating in my mind!

The Metroid series on any recent system, the old games were pretty legit but every one that took the FPS perspective just seemed like a poorly made shooter to me. I figured they just did it intentionally to increase the challenge of the gameplay which is probably wrong but in the end it just just felt clunky and uncomfortable.

I strongly disliked the Halo Reach Beta (actually the Halo series in general), pretty much all my friends who played said it was TOTALLY different from Halo 3. Aside from the controls being slightly altered, it was exactly the same as the previous Halo games.

Still failing to see what makes them love that more than the Halo 3 multi-player.

Final Fantasy seven alternated from annoying to insulting so often I could never finish it. I hated the whiny character of Cloud. I just couldn't root for such a willfully weak and ineffectual character. I couldn't stand to look at it with the bizarre Popeye arms and the huge over-sized rooms with nothing but space in which I could walk in circles pointlessly. I thought Sephy was more a plot cancer/ boogey man type villain. His presence simply made you life bad- not through any effort on his part. If he showed up it meant all the babies die and the good guy will just punk out and do what ever he demands.

Any of the Halo series, any of the Call of Duty series, and the Grand Theft Auto series.

Mostly because I dislike shooters for the most part that I find myself usually ignoring Halo and CoD series.

Grand Theft Auto....well, if you all look into my xBox live username, you might note it's currently one of the games I'm playing now. I've been avoiding it because there was just somthing that didn't click with me when I heard the series came out, (plus I'm turned off by the series because just about EVERY time somebody shows me it, they have to show me the prostitute thing where you can kill them after to get your money back), and the extra episodes didn't help because I kept hearing this:

"Somebody looking for a Fat Slob with a Bladder Problem!?"

And I hated it, absolutely hated it since the 'bladder problem' character reminded me of that fat slob from Bully, the least likeable character from that game. (hey, it might be a new character in this game, but hell, I don't care) Finally a fellow employee told me to try it out, since I got free rental for a month, and finally started it up.

It's...hit every irritation I've had with it. Moving around feels slow and irritating, same with the cars...only fun I had is that I use other cars for my brakes :3.

I get why people find it a fun game...I can't..

I agree to this as well. Sadly I like only some of the extra characters that are in there (which ironically I've found more hate fansites for the guys I like than any regular fansites)

Halo. It's so overhyped for a FPS, and yet has such rabid fans. Grand Theft Auto bored the hell out of me. Dragon Age.... don't get me started on that one (also tired of the Mass Effect BS hype, thanks ever so much).

Lastly, if I could, I'd aim a flamethrower at the team that invented Farmville, and set the selector to "extra crispy". Then I'd introduce them to Mr. Yellow, old school.

Generally, any game that's in a genre I just can't get into, I don't care how good it is, I'm not interested in playing it.

Story-heavy games fall into this category too. I mean, I've played games with stories, but the story has always been just the backdrop by which I kill people and break things. Bringing the waters of life to a ruined wasteland? Mehhhh...wait? I get to kill Super Mutants and Enclave with a BFG? Bring it on!

I personally never got Beyond Good & Evil. Yeah, it's a good game and it's definitely better than average, but I don't love it like some other people do.

Street Fighter IV.
I don't know... I mean, I'm not a big fan of fightings in general, but I had my fun with Guilty Gear, KOF, Tekken and SoulCalibur. I love BlazBLue though. I actually played SFII in childhood, so I was hyped.
But the character designs (let's make them fugly), weird story modes kinda put me off.

Not a bad game, but I don't love it.

Also, Disgaea series...

Gotta say its the Call of duty games, used to love them, then they just lost there sparkle when you could no longer move for a sign or something advertising it.

Halo (I seriously just don't understand the interest; I played a bit and just couldn't get into it)
Final Fantasy (it's the same, re-hashed, old ideas all the time, so it would seem)
World of Warcraft (haven't played it enough to get into it, truthfully)
Borderlands (I thought this ABSOLUTELY sucked! I mean, I respect that people will have opposing opinions...this just completely passed me by)
