Games that everyone thought sucked but you actually liked

It seems like quite a few people are disapointed with Final Fantasy XIII, and I loved it.
I may be wrong, but my brother told me that there were a lot of bad reviews for it. I'm gonna look to see, but I personally loved that game, and have considered replaying it.

With all the hate on for Deadliest Warrior I'd say it's that. It's the best current fighting game I've played for all the reasons people hate on it. Apparently unrealistic fighters are what's popular, which is fine, but Deadliest Warrior is a very good game.

Cryostasis might not have much story till the ending but it scared the crap out of me at some parts and it was really fun to play

Ive heard alot of crap about Dark messiah of might and magic (the single/multiplayer First person hack and slash) BUT i think its just Brilliant with a minor bug here and there
still fun for me till this date

I have seen a lot of negative reviews for the Bloodrayne video game series from critics and average gamers alike, but I actually really enjoyed the games( I hate the movies though, they do suck). I also think that Mirrors Edge is good and Metro 2033 also.

Never really played it but to this date I'm still working in getting a working copy of sonic adventures 1/2, and that sonic card game, all for my dreamcast. (Referring to Shadow the hedgehog)

Enter the Matrix. I played it before I saw the movies so I didn't give a toss about Neo and all that other bollocks. For me, it was a good solid shooter with bullet time, acrobatics and some basic platforming. I was surprised to hear people thought it sucked, because I had a lot of fun with it. A good game, considering how old it is now.

Kane and Lynch. The only really problem with it was how easy it was to blindfire your way through the game. Other than that, get a friend, and it's a great game.

proffessor layton, phoenix wright and trauma center. all for the DS and all the same kind of style of games. i really thought they were nothing specail, but now i tried them and...... OH MY GOD!!!! layton is god, phoenix wright is baddass and trauma center was.... ok. it was beter then i thought but it was nothing really specail. i also saay that drawn point and click games really shine on the DS.
