The Darkness, I liked that game a lot
*Ducks to avoid the shit*
But the multiplayer was worse than terrible, Bad lobbies, lag, boring maps, stupid weapon design. It hurt

I will second Doom 3. The small player cap and the lack of variety made it seem like a second thought as the game was going out the door.

I can be rabid fan-like, yes. I am very much one of the TES series, however I try to not be unreasonable.
Now that's a good series to defend.

Though I'm usually hard pressed to find an anti-Elder Scrolls person. I usually find that more people hate Mass Effect.

Halo series, Gears of War series, and Samurai Warriors 2.
never played the last game but the first 2 games you listed have great multi player
I've never played Gears online, but I have heard that online is glitchy.

But Halo's multiplayer is probably the best I've seen, only because of the custom matches and lack of glitches/dropped games.

The average maturity level of a Halo player (in my experience) hasn't been very high. Maybe it was because I only played it right after it came out, but I haven't really been wowed by the community as I have been with other games like Left 4 Dead and TF2.

Although the fact that there's less players and a higher responsibility in L4D means that people who like to fuck around and not get blamed don't play it. Again, it might be just my own dumb luck.

That said, I do enjoy playing multiplayer on Halo 3 when I'm with friends. Solo, I hate it.

Ya i only play halo multi when its me and a bunch of friends or in the ranked matches. the ranked players are a bit better and wont screw around in game as much after you get to the higher lvls, but i cant stand playing the quickplay ones were anyone can, i think the average age is 13 and they mostly act like retards

Them focusing on multiplayer is my exact reason why they should nto have had it. Maybe Halo 2 and 3;s stories would ahve been epic like 1's. Thats more for Halo though, My reasoining for Gears is that its glitchy as hell and also has spawned a mass of stupid fans who dont appreciate games that are actually good. Gears I just want them to stop being the Glitchiest Place on Earth and less mindless fans then I will not be so hateful towards it. Halo however should just never have gone online except online co-op.

Wow I messed up on my editing. So I just removed it all and left my response.
Thats a fairer response then i was expecting, I was about to shoot you down when you moved.

I personally enjoyed H3, And i played both H2 & H3 With the same friend, Admittedly H2 ON split screen & H3 Over live - We did the first run-through together, And had the same reaction at the end. H2 was "WHAT?!?" and H3 was: "...Wow, What a last level".

I think H3 was doomed from the start, Bungie couldnt make a game that highly anticipated live up to the hype, or at least not to everyone.

The multiplayer was fun in moderation, And I think i wouldnt of bought it without the multiplayer. LAN's were the definition of awesome.

I agree with GOW - I hated both of the online games.

OT: Mercenaries 2 - I wouldnt've minded but you had to stay practically handcuffed to each other. Ballache at best.
