If I had a top ten list, nine of them have already been said ;-)

The one I'd add is Ninja Gaiden (whether the first one on XBox or else Ninja Gaiden Black).

Graphics are still impressive, though of course it doesn't have anything in the way of fancy lighting tricks, etc.

But I have yet to find an action game with its combination of *vicious* enemy AI (and not just enemies with 10x the hitpoints you have, which is how lesser games make it harder), deep combat system, bring-down-the-house cutscenes, and pacing (almost every level was something different, or had different enemies, etc.).

Let's not speak of the storyline :p

I have yet to find an experience as deeply satisfying as getting surrounded by 4 Black Spider Ninja clan, blocking a half-dozen incendiary shuriken aimed at my gonads, countering the attack of the first one leaping at me, rolling away from the second one trying to grab me, and then Izuna dropping the third one and killing him *and* two others as I slam his head through the concrete....

Pretty much any 2D Mario platformer.

And I have a feeling KotOR would still be fun to play nowadays. But I can't do it again now I know the spoiler.
I just played the balls out of KotOR, and loved every second of it. even though i knew what would happen, it felt good to just win like that.

SMB3 and World, Yoshi's Island, DKC 1, 2 and 3, things like that. A lot of SNES era games aged well. They were at the height of well done 2D games, so they looked nice then and can still look very nice now.

Tetris. No matter how much time goes, you can't deny that the satisfaction from finally getting one of those I-shaped blocks is greater than eating chocolate, having sex and taking a dump at the same time. I can't believe I just wrote that.
Check aaaaaaand check. Well, minus the sex and pooping part.

Recently booted up my PS2 for a spin on Okami, and that was brilliant!

If you didn't get it the first time round (shame on you!) get it now, whilst it'll be dirt cheap :D

I'm thinking the original Final Fantasy Tactics has aged really well.

It's an incredibly playable game with tons of replay value. The graphics aren't 3D, but then again, they don't need to be. The new cut scenes in the PSP re-release were nice to see, but the rewritten script & voice acting were alittle strange. That's why I prefer the original over the remake.
But GOD DO I LOVE HAVING DEATH KNIGHTS IN THE REMAKE! That aside, this. Have a FFT theme on my ps3, and every time I look at it, I want to play.

Most 2D games age well. Sure early Atari games have aged horribly, but they were never considered pretty to begin with.

As far as early 3D goes... Thief 1 and 2, Deus Ex, and System Shock 2 are all perfectly playabe, if only a tad polygon-challenged.
Ninja'd xD

I'll go Fallout 2 then, tons and tons of replay value.

There are a lot of no-brainers, so I'll mention some that haven't been said as much.

Dragon Warrior 3. While the first gets by on what it did for the genre as well as it's appropriate length, the second has not aged well at all, in my opinion. The third one, however, is where the series really started getting good. I still play it every now and then. It came out the same year as the first Final Fantasy game, and had, like, five times the content.

Pokemon Snap. Something must be said about a three-hour long game that I can play over and over again.

The first two Golden Sun games. They still look, sound, and play great.

Many more, but a lot of them have already been said.

--Sonic the Hedgehog 1/2/3/Sonic & Knuckles
No brainers, really.

--Doom/Doom 2/Final Doom
Who knew running around at lightspeed (compared to modern FPS titles) blasting demons from hell would still be awesome nearly 20 years after its release...

--Test Drive Le Mans (aka "Le Mans 24 Hours" in Europe and Japan)
A 10 year old Dreamcast racing game that not only is very fun to play even today, but it also has dynamically changing weather for all races, a full on day-night cycle for the Le Mans race, as well as the ability to save during the middle of a Le Mans race and come back and finish said race later. Seriously, I'm having a very hard time trying to think of even modern racing games that have those features...

I recently replayed Jedi Academy, and it was just as much fun as it was all those years ago.
This. JA was one of the first games I got, back in 'the day', and it's still just as good, even better, than it was when I first played it. Makes you wonder how LucasArts managed to go so downhill...

(Oh wait, the 'Lucas' bit)

Rollercoaster Tycoon 1. I have lost more of my life to that game than any other, ever. I played it constantly for 6 years. I finished every scenario at least twice. And to this day watching guests mill about, giant coasters hit 150km/h and of course crashing things fills me with unbridled joy. Excellent user interface (much better than 3, havent played 2 though), kitschy graphics and a fantastic game play mechanic. It will never get old.

Rollercoaster tycoon 2 is better than 1. It is basically an expansion, compatible with most stuff from the first, and it has the same user interface. Identical. So, RCT 1, with more shit to do.

Star Craft anyone?
I'll have to contest that, especially if you're used to more modern RTS games like SupCom or StarCraft 2. I mean, seriously. 12 units at a time?

More on topic, I'd say that Okami has aged really, really well. You'd be hard pressed to find a more visually striking game.

I'll have to admit, I never got into Unreal in it's heyday but played UT2004 fairly recently and it was amazing fun. I especially liked the Translocater and the Bombing Run game-mode.

Does KOTOR count? I only saying that since my bro (who is graphic over gameplay) got put off for its graphic.

Also avoiding what others had said already I would say Golden Sun 1 & 2, Advance Wars, R-Type and Metroid Prime.
Kotor counts for me. I love that game to death.

I'm 99% sure doing all of those at once would have horrible, horrible consequences. But you never know maybe it's the greatest thing ever and we just haven't tried yet...

If you'll excuse me I have some experimenting to do.

Pretty much every game that was popular in the SNES/Genesis library. Final Fantasy Tactics too. Alundra. Link's Awakening. The Golden Sun games. Ok this could go on forever.
