Hey guys I don?t know if you are like me but if you are you find yourself going through a game having to complete everything in it finishing every quest, collecting every key etc but which game for took the longest? That one game that you just wouldn?t put down until every little thing had been done?

Mine has to be GTA4 took me ages to find all them damn pigeons lol also fallout 3 though even now I?m not sure I?ve done 100% but do have all the achievements :)

I know these ones probably aren't that hard as other games to 100%, but it took AGES for me to get both Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 to 100%.

"The world ends with you" on the other hand...... FACK THAT!!!

Well the First Fire Emblem to be released in the west, the one one for the Game Boy Advance, took me 10 fuckin' years to just complete the base campaign. I've spent the last 5 trying to complete the Hard Campaign, and went that's done I've got the Hector Campaign to complete..... then the Hector Campaign to complete on Hard.

Yeah.... to quote a doomed polar explorer "I may be some time."

The one that I tried hardest on was Batman: Arkham Asylum mostly because I LOVE THE RIDDLER wouldn't let the Riddler be better than me. xD

The problem I have with a lot of 100% stuff is that I give up because there's freakin' timed events to get some crap.

The only game that I have ever 100%ed is Psychonauts which wasn't too difficult. I did have to look up the locations of a couple things, though.

Final Fantasy X.

I know it took a long time, my save file says so but I can't remember doing any of it.

gta3 and vice city are the only games I have ever completed 100% and they took quite a while.

I guess sometimes I just run out of patience with a game and don't feel the urge to do it to 100%. This is probably the reason I don't have any games with 100% achievement completion either.

Ahem. Ladies and Gentlemen, the King of Long-Ass games...

Me: Mercenary Mode, let's get that 50% Achievement!

Just Caust 2 Mercenary Mode Stats for ChillzMaster: 29 hours played-33.25 percent completed.

Me: LET'S GET SOME PERCENTAGE DONE!

Two hours later...

Me: I wonder how much I got done?

Just Cause 2 Merc. Mode Stats for ChillzMaster: 31 hours played-33.44 percent completed.

Me: FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU...

Yea... seriously. Just Cause 2 is incredibly fun, but trying to get a considerable amount of hte game DONE takes a good eon or so.

Fallout 3: Took me between 600-700 hours of game time across 6 playthroughs before I had 100% of the achievements; Mill Worker and Alien Archivist took me an age to finally get. Still working up the courage to get the last one on New Vegas; hardcore playthrough... blergh...

Pokemon Gold - my profile with all 251 took me 216 hours of game time... ah those were the days...

My Greek campaign on Rome: Total War was somewhere around 150 hours to achieve world map total dominance.
On Empire Total War, it was probably a similar time to achieve the same as the British.
Whereas on Shogun, it took me only about an hour once as the Uesugi (admittedly I auto-resolved, but still, it was pretty darn fast).

Agreed with this. I've been trying to 100% TWEWY for a while now. I've gotten most of the items and around half of the pin masteries. But...I just couldn't do it.

I can't say I've ever really been driven to reach 100% on any game. If it happens, great. If not, oh well; what am I playing next?

Achievements and all that shit just seems pointless to me, especially with games like TF2; half of that stuff just happens by accident anyway and is almost impossible to get in a standard server (you know, where people actually play instead of stand around racking up their achievements with each other).

Oh God, bad memories from an awesome game. NOT TO MENTION THE DAMN BEE CAMS.

OT: Anything with DLC.
L.A Noire took me nearly 2 months to completely finish because of that (Both waiting for DLC and the game itself). The same goes for Fallout: New Vegas, but at least it's always fun to play.

For that new Vegas achievement just put it on very easy but had hardcode mode on and just rushed the main quest ding! Achievement, I felt very dirty afterward but still ...DING!

I've only 100%-ed a handful of games. I've done many Majora's Mask 100% completions; I did two Super Mario Galaxy 100 % completions, one as Mario and then as Luigi. I did it for ODST, but that was pretty easy. I almost did it for Assassin's Creed II, but fuck Pettrucio and fuck feathers.
