FFX, FFXII, Star Ocean 3, and Dragon Quest VIII.
I've played the FF's twice through while collecting all the best weapons/gear/whatever on the second playthrough. I played the hell out of star ocean 3 the first playthrough, there's a lot of content to go through after you beat the game. I tried playing through it again for old time's sake, but when I went to insert the second disc my ps2 shit itself and froze. Now the save data is corrupt... still kind of pissed about that. And I explored everything I could in DQ VII. Damn those games were fun.

Oblivion. I can't tell how many hundreds of hours I've spent on that game. Note that I said "spent" and not "wasted", every minute was spent wisely.

Wow, the longest I've ever played a game for is about 35 hours, (Uncharted 2) including replay-throughs, treasure hunts and online.Discon said:

Most people asking this question I'm guessing will want to exclude air, water, and basic nourishment as those are obviously the top answers.
My answer is probably Shadowbane. But if we are excluding mmo's in general, either BlazBlue or Oblivion

For multiplayer centric games: Halo PC and CS 1.6 have stolen well over 1000 hours of my life.
For Single Player games though, Dissidia has made me it's slave with over 400 hours of gameplay clocked into it. You CAN'T stop playing it, just...so....awesome.

Fallout 3 is rediculous. I've put nearly 200 hours into that thing, certainly more than any other game. And the thing is THERE'S STILL STUFF TO FIND! THIS IS GETTING STUPID!
Guild Wars - there was about a 7-month stretch where that was literally all I played, and even after that I still play it regularly to date.
