The 'Don't shoot teammates!' thing in Left 4 Dead.

I hate this too! Every single time! And then if you take friendly fire, it says 'Stay out of the line of fire'! As if it's my fault every time!

I remember a game on the Commodore 64 called Tau Ceti, that if you typed in a swear word, it said something like "There's no need for language like that. You'll be sorry in 5...4...3...2...1..." and then it crashed the game! That's why games can insult you, but not the other way around.

That doesn't count because that's just part of being a dick in the game.

It's even worse considering that ninja dog is still impossibly hard for me.

In the original Fallout when you died there was always an elaborate CG scene of your body rotting in the desert while it told you that now your village died of thirst. I always found that a little like adding insult to injury.

But really, the bitchiest of games would have to be anything Katamari. Even when you succeed the king is all like "oh, this is your Katamari? I thought I asked for a good one. Oh well at least it's small so I don't have to look at it." And it's like wtf? I passed!

The dialogue in any 3D sonic game is enough to make the gamers feel like killing themselves. I was playing sonic adventure 1 a little while ago and it made my angry that everything the charcters were saying was insulting my intelligence. But I guess thats what you get for playing a sonic game

On Ninja Gaiden Black, where the Easy difficulty was first added (the original Ninja Gaiden didn't actually have an Easy difficulty), the game openly mocked you for selecting it, and gave you a pretty purple ribbon to wear.
