As others have said, Shadow of the colossus When...
...Agro dies
I absolutely maimed that last colossus in the name of agro.
Never before had I felt such satisfaction in the last strike of my blade, and the death cry of a giant.
O_O Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!?!? Ooooh, that last Colossus is gonna die a painful death!

The end of Myst 3, I think.
Which one, the satisfying "Everything Resolves" ending, the really depressing "Trapped Forever" ending, or the horrific "Everyone Dies" ending?

There was one bit near the end of Kingdom Hearts that hit me pretty hard. When you finally arrive at Hollow Bastion and find that Riku's beat you there, he exerts his will over the Keyblade, manages to take it from you, and convinces Goofy and Donald that it's he they should be sticking with, not you. After losing your trusty weapon and your partners, you're left with nothing except the toy sword you began the game with and a lingering sense of self-doubt.

I don't think I cried, but I remember being genuinely upset.
tru but on the postive side beast tag along with you so it created a i know your pain moment

Paper Mario: the Thousand Year Door.

I swear I at least shed a tear when I had to go through recruiting Bobbery and hearing his story with Scarlette.

Gears of War 2:

the time when Carmine died.

Fallout 3:

often when I see skeletons in certain fallout shelters.

MGS3, Kojima the soulless bastard made us pull the trigger on our own mother, we actually had to press the button to fir in order to continue.
The monologue about her being remembered as a traitor actually made me cry. Saddest monologue I've heard in a game.
Yeah... When you have the hidden options to press R to see what Snake sees kills me. If I'm not crying by the cemetery when I see he is it sets me off.

No game has ever made me cry, but Metal Gear Solid 3's ending is the closest any have ever gotten.

None have made me shead a tear,

but few have come close,

for example

teranigma

Basically, you loose, Arks home world ends (after you find out its all been one big giant trap set up by dark gaia). He is given one last day in it with the illusion of all the past villagers there including his girl, and it is to be destroyed with you in it. ironically because of your own doing in defeating dark gaia himself.

oh and ofcourse the implied death of prity much all the main characters in a plane/blimp/airship thing crash, exept topside ellie acutually i think she was the only main to survive

and a few others, which i will regret to inform you i will not be posing here.

What is wrong with you people? Am I the only person who bawled during the good ending of Bioshock? It might have something to do with the fact I have two daughters though.
That's so sweet!

The end of final fantasy 10, when Yuna runs to try and grab Tidus, bu hes already starting to fade with Yu Yevons death, and she just falls through him, and starts to cry that she loves him... that was rough on me

Metal Gear Solid 3. Only game to ever make me cry in a way that wasn't out of frustration. That game is a fucking masterpiece.

Edit: Oh, and the last act in MGS4. the rest of the game was fucking awesome action and stealth when you got to play and the last act was more of an emotional thing. And fanwank. But MGS4, for the most part, was well-done fanwank.

I cried at the end of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. The fight between Solid and Liquid. It was almost cathartic watching two people that hated each other literally beating out every last piece of hatred they had for each other. It was the perfect ending for that series. Then Kojima had to f@#$ it up by the ending after the credits rolled by. That one moment made the entire series not about Snake, but about the rivalry between Big Boss and Zero. Now, when I replayed the same scenes over and over again, I feel nothing.

The ending to Final Fantasy X made me sad. Sure I did not like Tidus all that much, but I felt sad for Yuna. Their love story did not feel contrived like Squall and Rinoa's or Zidane and Garnet's. They did not fall in love at first sight like most other characters in video games. Their love evolved over the course of the game because they spent time together, just like love in the real world.

I am also saddened by the Rachael story line from Final Fantasy VI.
