Prototype, Halo, Spartan Total War, God of War, Advent Rising (if you've never played it do yourself a favor and do, if you want to pwn noobs), Ninety Nine Nights.

Any game with RTS elements and final stages, because normally you're god.

I'ts pretty much gotta be either Arkham Asylum, Far Cry 2 when I walk up into a place like I own it and trash everyone using only my Deagle, or in Champions Online when I play my might character, The Big Baby (as small as he can be, while being as muscular as possible) and am completely indestructible.

Every last damn second of Prototype. Seriously, the entire game was pretty much designed by people going, "What things could you do in a game that make you feel like a badass"? Actually, I think I saw a developer video where they said something like that. Feeling like a badass is basically the point of the game.

MGS's obvious badassery is, I think, unchallenged. CoD4 provides sooo many opportunities to defy laws of physics (and the United States of America). God of War... well... if you don't think swinging a three-hundred pound seven foot glowing purple sword around is fun, you shouldn't be allowed near any three-hundred pound seven foot glowing purple swords. (Same goes for four-hundred pound nine foot blood-covered hammers.)

Prototype had many flaws, but at no time in playing it, did I ever feel less that a complete and utter bad ass.

Devil May Cry 2, being able to do so many tricks and attacks, showing off in front of people. It really did make me feel badass. Devil May Cry 3 even more so.

Cod4 crawling past soldiers and tanks in a ghille shit....or killing NAZI ZOMBIES OMGOMGZOMG anyway.....one of there or Unreal tourny, any of them the joy of rocket lauching every single bot, noob and vehicle in my path.

Assassins Creed, hands down.
Nothing in my opinion feels better than stabbing some dude when he probably didn't deserve it, and get away with it.

A tad morbid, yes, but when you finish a fight with 15 guards and walk away flawlessly, you're the man.

Falcon 4.0: Allied Force - There is nothing on earth more badass than landing an F-16 that has been shot full of holes, is running on the EPU (Emergency Power Unit), is completely out of fuel, and has minimal hydraulics. It's one of those, "Holy shit! I am a god!" moments.

I skidded to a stop, poped the canopy, paused the simulation, and got myself a beer. I had earned it.

And then got back to flying again? I'm not sure if there are any laws about drinking and flying. US pilots get high on speed, though.

I'd say Assassins Creed.
