I played Chains of Olympus at a friend's house. It was my first God of War experience, and I have never before nor since felt like more of a badass.

It may be an MMORPG, but winning in combat against an enemy ten levels higher than you is so satisfying. Once I ran away in PVP and came back with different clothes. Ran right at him and he didn't even see me. You have to use different combat moves when fighting enemies stronger than you, so yeah, you feel epic taking down a giant grizzly bear.

God Of War/Dynasty Warriors rip-offs. There's nothing like being able to march into a battlefield with thousands of enemies, tapping X & Y and executing a perfect spin through the enemy, bouncing off one of them, leaping 30 ft into the air and raining down a shower of energy attacks.

Mass effect when u upgrade the force powers enough to be able to lift one of the geth walker tank things into the air then walk right up to it and shoot in point blank with a shotgun, yeah, badass
