OOT, The Well, I just find that place so creepy I always rush in grab the lense and rush out NEVER to return again.

And also I felt evil at the end of Drawn To Life The Next Chapter, I became so attached to the Raposa over the course of the game, then I destroy their world I felt horrible after that.

Only games like Fallout 3 that let you be mean or evil to unique NPC's can make me uncomfortable. (Although I don't bother playing most horror/survival games.) Even though they're just pixels, it bothers me to be evil to them. GTA 3 was different though. Those people are nameless, faceless, and if you run over one, there's another one just like it in a few blocks. Although I did have to be desensitized even to that. I started out trying not to kill any innocent bystanders, but after accidentally running over enough of them while getting away from the cops, I got used to it.

I think...occasionally in Half Life. When I realised that the headcrab zombies, under teh crab, are actually conscious people, fully aware of what's happened to them. That was a little...unnerving.

But, yeah, it has to be psychological stuff like "how would I feel if it happened to me" etc. The idea of being bothered by a moral choice is a little odd to me, since in games it's always this ridiculous dichotomy between "I enjoy bunnies" and "I enjoy eating live bunnies". It's so false that the implications of what I've done never really hit home.

Oblivion

Where you have to kill the old lady living by herself in the middle of nowhere on a tiny little farm. Then steal her birthday gift list. Then use it to track down and kill her family.

It's just... wrong.
I loved that. It sort of serves as a big reminder that your character, now that they're so deep in the brotherhood, has no chance of redemption. It's the moral event horizon. A big old kick in the balls to say "Hey, noticed that you're a murderous psycho yet? evil bastard!"

Although the mission to kill everyone trapped in the house without being discovered was great fun. That was my favorite mission in the whole questline.

Love it. :)

OT: I felt uncomfortable playing that Dead or Alive volleyball game. I borrowed it off a friend who dared me to play it for a long period of time, and he thought it was a fighting game when he bought it. It's a game for perverts.

You can change womens bra sizes and watch them jiggle as they play volleyball. :p

I have No Mouth and I Must Scream.

For those who don't know, its this obscure adventure game, penned by famous sci-fi author Harlen Ellison. I have to say one thing: Harlen Ellison is one SICK SICK PUPPY!

The game is about the 5 last survivors of the human race, wiped out by a sentient computer called AM. AM has captured them, imprisoned them, and kept them alive for 109 years...torturing them. Constantly.

In the game, you play each character, trying to guide them through these horrible virtual reality games that AM has set up for them. You can't win...the only choice is how are you going to lose. Its so grim, and the choices are so horrible, and AM is so endlessly fucking creepy, that I could never get past the stage where you play as Nimdok.

In fact, if you played the European version of the game, you could not win. Why? Cause Nimdok was removed. Why?

Well...his partner, his pall, his buddy in his previous life, before AM, was one Dr. Mengele...

Another game that made me very uncomfortable was Call of Duty 5. More specifically, it was every single Russian level after Stalingrad. Frankly, the Nazis were bad...real bad. And guess what? The Russians paid them back for every wrongdoing, and then paid them back a hundred fold. The only thing COD5 was missing was the mini-game where you raped every girl you got your hands on.

But they didn't need that seriously put me off...no, it was the lighting the Germans on *fire* and the lifelike animation as they went crispy and flailed and screamed...

yyuughggggh I might feel differently if I was a Russian in the 1940s, but I'm not, so I don't and that went way too goddamn far.

I once had to play Halo 3 multiplayer as a Spartan because my friends refused to stop long enough to let me customise.
I scrubbed and I scrubbed afterwards but I still felt filthy.
That pisses me off, My friends won't let me be an elite because, and I quote "Nobody else does".

Jesus Christ...

OT: I think it was Half-Life 1 I played it when I must have been about 6, and I hid behind the sofa when I saw the headcrab zombies, does that count as uncomfortable?

Silent Hill. Still freak out a little about that one.
Sector 7. Old game, never played for more than about 30 mins cause of increasing paranoia

Probably doing you a favour. Being an elite makes you a bigger target, and definitely makes getting headshots against you easier. =P

OT: Guitar Hero. Played too much once and my left hand ached afterwards. That counts as discomfort right? >.>

I don't like the poison headcrabs...I hate that noise

I hate all headcrabs and headcrab zombies. It's different from normal zombies, because the host is STILL...SCREAMING...UNDERNEATH...ALL...THE...TIME

Brrrr

And ANY shooter after just played TF2. Spah Checkin' all the time.

Actually, TF2 is kinda freaky on your own, you keep hearing Spys...but they're never there...

GTA IV, when given the choice to kill Dwayne or the other guy, I killed the other guy. But out of curiosity, I reloaded the save file and attempted to kill Dwayne. i felt a right fucker, like I was drowning a puppy.
