Battlestations: Pacific at times.
I don't so much quit during games as I do just stop playing it for stretches at a time. What makes me do it is the completely asinine backlash I get from assholes with superiority and entitlement issues when I kick their ass. I also get bombarded with hate mail and whining whenever I mop the floor with someone.
Here are some of the messages I have to deal with

Some dickbag who didn't pick an unlock said:
Oh, you're a noob for using jets!
Yes, but those jets circumvented the entire map, snuck up behind your offensive front line and took out your only operational aircraft carrier, stranding you on a small island in the corner of the map away from anything else.
Some idiot who left his ships and bases without air cover said:
You're using Kamikazes you noob!
Well those kamikazes just sent 4 cruisers and 3 destroyers to the bottom of the ocean in one fell swoop.
Some spammer who never realized my units were better than the ones he was picking said:
Quit camping on that headquarters!
So I'm just supposed to open the doors to my base wide open so you could walk in and take it. How about I also drape the base up in welcome banners and whip up some margaritas?
Somebody who didn't read the manual said:
True, but they achieve unprecedentedly positive results for me. Don't hate the player, hate the game.
Another person who didn't read the manual said:
You must be cheating because your units are invincible.
It's called "Hardened Armor" and "Evasive Maneuvers". They make your units temporarily invulnerable. You have to take supply bases to get them. Read the fucking manual before playing.
A butthurt said:
I never use jets you noob!
Maybe that why you didn't win.
Someone who picked an unlock without thinking first said:
Stop spamming torpedo bombers!
Only when you quit spamming battleships.
Another butthurt said:
You can't play unless you're the Japanese and probably leave the room if you can't.
I play as the Japanese because I am more in tune with their units' strengths than the US. If I do so need to play as the US I will, but for now I need.
A low-raking player with a superiority and entitlement problem said:
You only host games so you could lure other players into a trap.
No, 90% of the games I play, I host because people like you can't take it upon yourself to check your internet connectivity before creating a room with the max number of people allowed.

I get messages like these all the fucking time because people can't accept the fat they lost. And no matter how many times I play the same people over and over they still continue to call me noob because I pulled a move they didn't anticipate and took advantage of their weaknesses.
It seems no matter what tactic or units I use, genuine, superior strategy is always marked off as cheating or noob tactics.
