Recently? Well, I've not played many current generation games, save for SSBB, but that's not really a ragequit game.
That being said, lately I have been playing some nostalgic classics like the original Spyro trilogy (Which in my opinion are better than the more recent mediocre Spyro games), and Spyro: Year of the Dragon has been the game I have been ragequitting the most on.
Specifically, there's a segment after you beat the last boss and after you collect all the gems and all the dragon eggs in which it allows you to collect an obscene amount of gems in a bonus world. There are, if I remember correctly off the top of my head, three (Correct me if I'm wrong, please) minigames you need to complete to get all the final gems.
There's one that is, to put it bluntly, impossible to complete without cheating a bit. Earlier in the game, there is a skateboard racing minigame where you race against Rhynocs and you're required to get first place to get an egg. The minigame in the bonus world is basically the same thing, but your opponents, yetis in this case, have full boost at the start, or it seems like it, and you don't.
I have never cursed so much while playing a game. I felt like the Angry Video Game Nerd, only I didn't have a camera to spew at.
I gave up after my hyperbolillionth attempt and almost literally threw my controller at my PS2. After looking up a hint on how to beat the damn yetis, I found that you can stand on a place in which a blue star, the ones that give you a short boost that doesn't add to the boost you fill up with tricks, keeps giving you the powerup and if you wait long enough, you'll have a near endless boost at the start, and that's how I beat that level, and beating the last minigame was a breeze.
