Games that NEED a sequel

sequel's I love them and chances are if your in this post you do to and we have all played games that were so good that need a sequels. This could be for many reasons Gameplay, Story, Characters, Concept. My personal must Sequels are Time Splitters 3, GUN, Freedom Fighters, and Battle Tanxs. I loved them all and I WANT MORE but enough about me, whats your must sequel list?

It's hilarious because none of the games you mentioned have even the slightest chance in hell of getting a sequel.

Which is depressing because Freedom Fighters was the shit...

Sadly, too many awesome games fall under "not even the slightest chance in hell of getting a sequel." Shall we make a list? Then again, I guess that's the entire point of this thread.

True... But I'm sure people said the same thing about Half-Life back in the day, so I guess you never really know.

You just have to wait ten years.

Or, in the case of Blizzard, announce shit as early as possible so they know it's coming and then still make them wait ten years.

With that kind of release schedule, I can be ready to anticipate a new game at the turn of every significant step of my life.

As already said, Psychonauts. Call me odd, but I want to see if there are any more crazies whose minds we can have a nice romp through. After all, the ending left a nice little mission open if nothing else can come up... And I'd like to see some of the old characters I love so much.

Republic Commando, Jet Force Gemini, 'Splosion Man, Gunstar Heroes, Rygar the Legendary Adventure (NOT the shitty Wii remake, the PS2 greatness) and Prototype... Hey a boy can dream can't he? Unfortunately I don't think many if any of them will get sequels.

I'm fine with that subtitle as long as the game has a fourth wall breaking scene where the protaganist comes out of the game and beats the shit out of the guy who came up with it for being so fucking stupid. It was hilarious when Duke Nukem did it. I also have to vote for Half Life 2: Episode 3. I heard rumors valve is bringing back Corporal Shephard.
