Games that should not have been made

All games that don't appeal to me personally in accordance with my personal preferences and, most importantly, expectations should never have been made, regardless of how many people who are not me enjoyed them. The direction I believe the Final Fantasy series should have taken is obviously the objectively right one, as is true with everything Kingdom Heart, Fallout, Gears, what-the-fuck-ever the kids are playing these days. I am personally offended by these games' very existence, since, after all, I am totally obliged to play them for some reason.

World of Warcraft. I am just one of those that would have rather it been another RTS instead of shelling out cash every month to continue the story.

Basically this, and also their RTS games wouldn't be appealing to the lowest common denominator either (Fuck you for Starcraft 2). Or at least I would hope they wouldn't.

QFE, esp the SC2 part. I never played WoW, but I have seen the horrors it can do to a person, particularly teenagers.

I'm not exactly following what the OP is looking for.. is it games that are so addictive that they should never have been made, or games that are so bad they're a disgrace and don't deserve to exist?

Anyway, I just want to add Fallout3 to the list. What a fucking sacrilege.

I couldn't get into Super Man 64 at all. I don't see how a game designer should limit Super Man's powers by making him fly through rings to get to destinations.

Ah I see. Makes sense, though I blame that more on the movie FF7: Advent Children than the game itself. I really don't know many fangirls who have actually played the game, most of the fangirls of the series that I know watched the movie and then simply read the game summary online. It's such an awesome RPG though it's kind of a shame that fangirls have to ruin it for people. >n>

As a game itself, I really think FF7 is a great one and shouldn't lose it's standing as a great game because of a handful of annoying fans. Though I suppose I'm being hypocritical because the fans are the reason I'd never go near the Twilight series so who the hell knows.

Speaking of crazy fans, I do find the Kingdom Heart's series a bit overrated. But maybe that's just me. I loved the game play, but the story and characters weren't all that great and yet so many people are obsessed over the series like it's the best thing ever. I just don't get it.
