Fallout: New Vegas died a slow death for me just outside of Primm. Seriously, I just stopped that soon into it and realised "wow, this game holds no redeeming value for me."
I swear to God if you didn't like it because you couldn't hike around like a lost New Yorker in Yellowstone Park like so many other people who got into Fallout by playing Fallout 3 first, I will attempt to hate you to death.
I... I don't even know what that means! Please have mercy!
NO MERCY. I WILL FOCUS MY HATE INTO PURE DEATH RAYS AND DISINTEGRATE YOU, YOU PEASANT.
In all seriousness though, what I'm saying is that some of the Fallout 3 newcomers to the series tend to complain that Fallout New Vegas doesn't let them explore because the devs put Cazadores and Deathclaws near areas with high level loot, and it annoys me that they always complain about that.
i still go sightseeing its just when i do i carry around power armor, plenty of stims, mines,a grenade launcher, a mini gun, a high powered sniper rifle, and different flavors of grenade as well as my custom modded laser rifle named Vera, (on that note i do love the game)
OT:a way back i got a rather obscure game called monster madness and it was OK at first a top down 3-D shorter where you take control of one of 4 kids(a geek,a goth, cheerleader, and a skater) and try to fend of a monster invasion consisting of zombies, werewolves, vampires, etc, etc but it stopped being fun when i had to beat a leprechaun at basketball to get enough gems to continue. granted it wasn't the premise that lost it for me the game itself was very wacky and campy and i liked that, it was the fact that he was damn near impossible to beat and if i lost i had to start back at the middle of the level, i still haven't beat it...i may go back to it again...someday...
