Demon's Souls. Best game ever, but GOD DAMN is it hard as hell. I've only got two trophies, and it's taken me a MONTH!

Magic: The Gathering - Duels of the Planeswalkers.

There's nothing like the hate when you lose a duel because of bugs (which, by the way, occur in virtually every multiplayer session).

Stealth missions that auto-fail if one guard spots you. I abandoned Return to Castle Wolfenstein for about 3 years because of one of them.
Was it the secret base mission, where you get that massive sniper rifle?
I hated that part as well...the rest is friggin brilliant, though!
That's the one, yeah.

I went back to it earlier this year after being reminded of it by a thread on a similar topic, and finally beat it, after several attempts and studying walkthroughs on Youtube. That level aside though it is a good game.
Was that the base with the sirens that go off when you are spotted?

Gawd, the sound of that thing whirring up made my skin crawl...

Shadow of the Colossus owes me 2 controllers. Black ops campaign irritates me too but mainly cause i always thought i was doing all the work but wasnt sure until last night i say my teammate shoot at a barrel like 2 feet in front of him for 5mins then take off running around a corner just going past 6 guys that i then had to kill

Heavy Rain: permanent death + quick time events = freak outs on my part.
Well it is an interactive movie, you aren't suppose to look at it like you lost, it's just continuing on the story. getting the 18 endings were joyful concerning the sorrowful and happy endings in-between. And it's an interactive movie, quick time events are relevant to David cage if you didn't play Fahrenheit yet.

Dead Rising probably. I never gave the game a real chance before selling it, tbh, but I often had no clue about where to go and since it was timed I felt more stressed. The hordes of zombies didn't help either, especially since you didnt have much life on the first level.
It all went downhill for me but lately I've been feeling like playing it again. Not sure if it's worth rebuying though.

There aren't really any specific games I get stressed about, maybe AC: Brotherhood Multiplayer recently. Everytime I got a new target, either someone else got to them first or I get killed just before I get to my target, it was very frustrating.

Yes, that one.

I have such fond memories of this game. About 3 levels in, there is the first part where you enter a crypt. Remember entering that? There was this hole in the ground where you could see nazi's being killed by ... god knows what.

A few hallways after that you have to jump a gap with spikes below, to pull a lever which lowers the spikes and allows you to jump down. Before I dared to jump, I emptied all my ammo and grenades down there and hopefully hear something die. I only heard footsteps and continuous grunting and moaning, even when I ran out of ammo. I shat myself and quit. Only played it again years later when I "rediscovered" the game.

Minecraft. Mostly because of the shitty ass save system that fucks me over every time it crashes. Oh, and today my house that I've spent the last 3-4 days working on, actually building it legitimately, instead of using INVedit (which is really hard when the game crashes and I lose half my stuff), burnt down. Man this has been a shitty birthday and it isn't even noon yet.
Happy birthday, I hope the day gets better for you.

OT: Black OPs multiplayer. I don't want to get into the details, but the multiplayer is rage inducing.
Thanks. :)

At the moment, Call of Duty: Black Ops. It's not that I find it a bad game at all, it's just that for some reason I can only join like 5% of the servers I try to join, and they're all Nuketown. Kinda pisses me off that I'm not able to play much on the multiplayer.

Call of Duty, Halo, Gears 0f- OK every competitive multiplayer game ever, I even get stressed out in modes where you fight NPCs like Combat Training in Black Ops and Firefight in Reach. I think its the one thing I need to fix to get better if I just chilled the fuck out I might be able to play more stategically *sigh*

mariokart...blue spiked shells...no fair :(

edit: and always getting stupid banana's when i need shells and mushrooms when i'm already first...
We play Mario Kart on 150cc, advanced AI, and "aggressive" weapons. It's miserable. You fight your way to the front only to recieve 2 blue shells, then get crushed by a giant, bowled over by bullet bill, and knocked off the cliff by someone with a star, all on the final lap. It is a great way to learn your friends' full range of expletives. Add some alcohol and things get really out of hand.

Multiplayer games have their occasional stress moments. A lot sometimes, when I have a bad day.

As for singleplayer games, there's Amnesia: Dark Descent, but then again that's supposed to stress you out. And...well, that's pretty much it.

Left 4 Dead 2. After a campaign in that game, I feel as burned out as the characters must feel.
Do it on Easy, grab a pump-action shotgun (most satisfying gun in the game if you ask me) and put this on:
All of a sudden the game will be the exact opposite, a delicious stress reliever. Don't forget to put it on Easy of course, you don't want your mad murder spree suddenly stopped.
Awesome!

Recently its been Left 4 Dead 2's Mutations. It's like the developers are laughing every time they make these and they've been bi-weekly too which is bullshit. Valve needs to stop making horrible mutations cuz they're not worth playing through if you can't pass it on easy with three other teammates especially if they're not troll twins who'll kick you for no raison. Good thing I have RE5 to play if Valve keeps having these messed up mutations.

Any Bullet Hell shooter. After the first couple of stages, the game fiinally kicks itself into high gear. And when you get around to fighting the final boss, you're on edge the whole time because you only have 2 lives with three bombs each left. And the final boss has like 9 attack patterns, the final one being immune to bombs.

Phantasmagoria of Flower View being a split-screen competitive Bullet Hell game starts becoming really stressful around the one and a half minute mark of each round.
