Hey that happens to me most of the time i'm shifting my weight for the team and yet half of my teamates proceed to nube toobing and camping resulting in them getting killed so these days i only seem to play domination.SODAssault said:Whenever I play Call of Duty or Halo online, I tend to get pretty sweary. It's not playing against superior opponents that bothers me, it's playing with a crap-ass team whose cumulative score barely passes my individual score, because when they don't pull their weight, I get flanked all the goddamn time and can't play effectively. Seriously, last night, Black Ops: I had a ten kill streak in the first four minutes of a map I'd never played before, and it all came crashing down when attack dogs came and mauled me from out of nowhere, courtesy of my teammates who were somewhere in the neighborhood of 0-14.
I don't even plug in my mic anymore because I'm afraid of verbally assaulting someone.
Agreed, it is one of the best single player FPS games in my opinion, even if a little dated by todays standards.Whateveralot said:Yes, that one.Tadaka said:Was that the base with the sirens that go off when you are spotted?Sixcess said:That's the one, yeah.Whateveralot said:Was it the secret base mission, where you get that massive sniper rifle?Sixcess said:Stealth missions that auto-fail if one guard spots you. I abandoned Return to Castle Wolfenstein for about 3 years because of one of them.
I hated that part as well...the rest is friggin brilliant, though!
I went back to it earlier this year after being reminded of it by a thread on a similar topic, and finally beat it, after several attempts and studying walkthroughs on Youtube. That level aside though it is a good game.
Gawd, the sound of that thing whirring up made my skin crawl...
I have such fond memories of this game. About 3 levels in, there is the first part where you enter a crypt. Remember entering that? There was this hole in the ground where you could see nazi's being killed by ... god knows what.
A few hallways after that you have to jump a gap with spikes below, to pull a lever which lowers the spikes and allows you to jump down. Before I dared to jump, I emptied all my ammo and grenades down there and hopefully hear something die. I only heard footsteps and continuous grunting and moaning, even when I ran out of ammo. I shat myself and quit. Only played it again years later when I "rediscovered" the game.
I went on a murder spree after playing the demo of this game.MK Tha Rebel said:Super Meat Boy
What about losing your legs at the beginning of a mission in Deus Ex?DemonicVixen said:Max Payne and Deus Ex
Why? Because I HATE enemies sneaking up behind me, constantly get killed when so close to end of level/chapter, and because I hate getting chased, being backed into a corner and killed >.>
