Final Fantasy XIII. The story totally unraveled toward the end of the game (you have to read the optional data-log entries for anything to make sense), there were no side quests other than redundant hunts, and there was almost no exploration at all - a poor choice for an RPG. And yet, I love the characters and found the combat system to be fun. I have played through it 4 times - despite the horrendous reviews most other players give it - and still don't get bored.

I fairly enjoy playing Never Winter Nights 2. Sure it did have terrible voice acting, humor that makes me facepalm with its stupidity, An alignment system that did not work at all (because it was totally reliant on dialog alone), a pointless "friendship" system with your AI allies, moral choices that made no sense, an irritating level up system, hideous character design, uncountable amounts of reoccurring glitches... Hmm... I might have to reconsider my opinion on it...

Did anyone ever consider Battlefront a bad game? I didn't really read game reviews and didn't spend much time on the internet so couldn't know.

But i can't see how it could be widely considerd as a bad game.

Looking back, there was this game, I don't even know what it's actual name was now.

But it was a Harry Potter Quidditch game, and I loved it. Spent hours on it. Everyone else was playing Fifa, Pro Evo, or Rugby '06 or something, but I could not get enough of the Quidditch! Wish I still had that game.

Funny thing is I don't even like HArry Potter.

Dark Cloud. Combat pissed me off 7 years ago, and pisses me off to this day. It still has a special spot on my gaming shelf (a GOOD special spot).

Mount and Blade. the graphics are poor, the AI is dodgy and the entire game has about two words of story 'go nuts' and usually these would make me hate a game but in this instance I can't help but love it, the freedom is incredible and you have choices I haven't seen in a game before such as 'I could free this simple bandit, or i could take him to a city and sell him to a slave trader...' I've never experienced a game like it and for all its shortcomings I can't help but love it.
That sounds pretty interesting actually.
Another one of mine is Fragile Dreams: Farewell Ruins of the Moon. The gameplay is horrible but it has one of the best most compelling stories I've ever seen in a game in my opinion.
Mount & Blade is amazing, and in no way is it a sucky game. It is what you make of it. I'm a play it now in fact. Oh yeah, OT it's got to be Two Worlds. I really enjoy it. I have 700-odd G from that game and I don't regret a second of playing it.
Yeah... I suppose HAVING THE G*DDAMN BEST medieval combat eva doesen't count? I mean its the closest thing to a medieval battle simulator there is. (Not mad at you here just saying that i love the game)
OT: Can't come up with one right now, hold on.

Darksiders, yea the game has 0 originality and its pretty much Zelda and God of war on 1 disc but the gameplay and story is just perfect for me.
it would be hard to be more wrong about that game, its art style is very original and while it copies the hell out of zelda its got practically nothing in common with god of war, if anything its zelda mixed with devil may cry, gah, get it right

The new Alien vs. Predator game is pretty awful, but I love the alien campaign for some reason. And I thought online play was pretty cool, at least when you manage to finally get a match, which is with more than one person.

Also Enclave. That game sucks hard purely because of it's unreasonable difficulty, but if you turn on the God Mode cheat (which is seriously the only way to even get past the first chapter) it can get kind of good.
...Well, not really. The gameplay isn't particularly fun, and the storyline isn't bad, but it isn't good either. But I just like trying to collect all the money to try and get as many upgrades on each of the characters as I can. And I'm really curious about Fetica and the Droid guy.

Blops.

Single player and zombies is pure crap, but the multiplayer is pretty fun. I also felt somewhat of an obligation after Treyarch returned COD to supporting dedicated servers on PC, so I gave them a chance and it's good for casual multiplayer.

Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects

More than a few poor character designs, silly sparse story mode and no balancing whatsoever. I really appreciated how they set up the simple, straightforward controls.

I wouldn't consider Toy Story 2 to be a bad game, if anything I felt it was one of the more superior movie-game adaptations.

OT: Probably Star Wars Force Unleashed, and Star Wars Jedi Power Battles. I always enjoyed the customization of KOTOR, but because of the turn based system, I always felt hollow about the combat. Those two games made me feel like a Jedi, but I didn't get the customization I wanted.

Lost Magic: Just so much fun using the touch screen and magic.

I'm trying very hard to find a game that sucks in my collection that i actually like. I can tell you awesome games that I hated. FFIX being one. Possibly the closest game that I own is Destroy All Humans, I can see why people would think it was piss poor, but I loved it.

The very recent BackBreaker Vengeance for XBLA, it seems like a game not many people would like and it's not even on the top downloaded games but I love it, and I don't even like American football, this game is based on it but you don't actually play any football.

Hella fun, though, anyone who has XBL download the trial now!

It uses the same damn ragdoll engine as GTA IV so thats enough reason.

Fable.

It was a great game that I played through.

The thing is, it didnt' hear ANY of the hype. All it was to me was an RPG. The level up system was interesting, the melee combat flowed nicely (I haven't seen it done better since Batman AA)

There were some weird holes of course. The biggest one was where your dude was like old and grey with a long beard and everyone else didn't age at all.

What's up with that?
