I only meant it's hard when you first learn, although...

Tell me, did you by chance watch the Meet The Team videos before you started playing?
I have played on and off since it's initial release and last I played was this weekend and it was very basic for me. I have played at a friends house and on some free weekeneds. Aside from the ocational spy, I have no trouble taking people out in any class. Hell I found the game easier than Halo...and thats not a good thing lol. The game was just...easy through and through, I can't explain it.
Oh. Well, three theories:

1)You're just good
2)Playing it gradually helped you get a better feel for the game without jumping in
3)I was bad because I had just gotten off a CoD4 binge, and tried to play this the same way.

It could be any one, or multiples, of the three.

I hate Brawl with a veangance, the majority Wii owners like Brawl even though it's inferior to Melee. I atleast tried to enjoy it but it did sooo many things wrong like adding random tripping and cutting out all the difficult skills. I bought the Wii for that crap!

Easy question.

Call of Duty(except 4, modern warfare, of course)

Final Fucking Fantasy(retarded premise, what can you expect from ANIME anyway?)

Fable series (really doesn't deserve the name)

GTA IV (I hate New York)

Fallout series (cold war's over, get used to it)

Last and least, HALO
(If I want to play a game by Microsoft about space and repetitive tasks, ill play MS Access)

Halo.

Sports games. I like Madden. I would like it and actually buy it if it only came out every Four years and they actually changed gameplay.

How are people having trouble at TF2? Not spamming the call for medic button enough? It's pretty simple you just have to find a class you are good at. Start with Medic or Engineer and work your way up. Both are useful on Offense and Defense.

My, aren't we original? I've seen so many of these threads it's ridiculous. But, I suppose I might as well join in, as I have nothing to do right now. I'd say TF2. I wasn't particularly bad at it or anything, I usually managed to get a fair number of kills each match, but I just found it boring. There wasn't anything that held my interest save for the art style. Also, fighting games in general. I must say, I agree with Yahtzee, to me they seem like a developer took one aspect of a real game and then made an entire game out of just that feature.

hmm. just skimmed the posts, but it didn't look like anybody hated metal gear solid. I played the original last summer, and could not figure it out. I spent ages just trying to frikin things I needed to survive, and then there was wayyyyyyyyyyy to much diolouge, and the story felt kind of stilted. and don't even get me started on the horrible gameplay, like the game didn't even know what it wanted to be. I did play and like mgs three though (at least i think it was 3, it was called snake eater)

Team Fortress 2: Boring on the 360 with only a few lvls and game types. Insane glitches. Each character/class is frustrating to use. The engineer's auto-turret is GOD.

FableII: This game is more suited for little kids with all the potty humor and glossy colors. Not to mention it is BORING.

Gears of War: Just too glitchy. Could be great. Hopefully the 3rd one will be that golden amazing thing ppl keep going on and on about.

Grand Theft Auto 4: The driving...goddamnit it's so bad I usually just go on foot. Also, the characters are pretty much unlikable and the story is boring.

Half-Life 2: This game may have been revolutionary when it was brand new, but it is OLD now! The characters are boring, but at least very 'alive.' Vehicles are HORRIBLE to drive and you are forced to drive them. And the game just has an air of boredom about.

Fallout 3...
the whole system is so frustrating to work out!
There are no clues to using anything or what anything does.
the first playthough is a total waste and the second is just a repeat.

and all you Hl haters :D it's an old game...
and Hl2, it's still a very old game!
for the time they were released everything in it was top of the class.

yeah why didn't they just give you a gas pedal in half life 2? I took so much unesarary damage and got stuck too much in because of that stupid arbitry jamming of gas and turn on one button. other than that though, I had fun with the game.

\ Halo (on no, here come the fanboys),
Why is everyone afraid of them? There are NO halo fanboys in these forums. (At least from what I've seen.) Everyone makes fun of them. Besides that, I hate COD:4. Nothing special about it at ALL.

(How can anyone hate TF2?!)

Fallout 3

A horrible game which I refuse to acknowledge as part of the series or as an RPG.

It's a shooter with stats and bad dialogue.

The Halo series. The story mode looks halfway interesting but the game play does not impress me. Additionally people go on and on about how Halo "revolutionized the genre" but I don't think of regenerative health as a positive change.

Couter-Strike: Source. Hard to get into a game that has been around long enough to turn some players into freakin' Green Berets.

Buddy, I can count the number of jrpgs on your xbox profile on no hands (unless you count the phantasy star games in ultimate genesis collection, which, let's be honest, you haven't played for any reason other than to get the achievement for playing everything). If you don't like jrpgs just come out and say that. Your opinion of a genre doesn't mean shit if you don't play it. I bet you've only played the demo of Valkyria chronicles, and if you actually liked final fantasy twelve you would be in a minority among jrpg fans (like me!) You unlock the "Doesn't fucking get it" achievement for insulting underrated classics in a thread about overrated, overhyped crap.
Also, pheonix I'm not sure what point you are trying to make here, but everything you say seems to be taking on a "I like this so you can't possibly not like it unless you have a: a natural hatred for this game/series or b: are a total fuck-head who doesn't get anything because he doesn't think is good." vibe so I will state something in caps so you don't forget it.

YOUR VERSION OF GOOD IS NOT THEIR VERSION OF GOOD

Is it so hard to believe? people tend to have other opinions when it comes to well... everything, guess what! I don't like JRPGS, I don't play any but the last one I did (a final fantasy one I cant remember) I did not like it much. That's my opinion, You like JRPGS. That's your opinion. If you are going to get on peoples back about their opinions and lecture them on yours then you best pack something better then I LIKE MY GAME BECAUSE ITS GOOD AND YOU ARE WRONG.
